2:01 A lot of people say the Wii U gamepad looks like a fisher-price toy, but it actually looks pretty sleek when it's not covered in smudges and fingerprints. Wish Nintendo didn't go with the Piano-gloss finish design for the gamepad.

This still is my favourite Zelda game I've ever played ! I absolutely loved the other ones but Windwaker just had something that was so addictive. This HD remake is like a dream come true to me ! simply can't freaking wait for this !!!

nintendo dont listen to this wii u haters keep doing what your doing. I like that the wii u has great third party games

Yeah on a pc. However most multiplatform games don't appeal to me anymore and i tend to play mostly indie games. Why do you wanna know?

I just got this game recently. I can't wait to play it. I had the original GAMECUBE version, but I never got to the end.

Okay, it's offical, I'm going to buy a WiiU for sure now that they're remaking Wind Waker!

This video shows all the reasons why I love Nintendo. They make a system with games in mind, fix things like loading with brilliant ideas, don't need things like photo realism to make a game realistic and really know how to reward a player. Nintendo will never die because Nintendo IS gaming

I like the ability to play this game exclusively on the gamepad. I recently bought a Wii-U. I loved this game on the gamecube and this game looks great in HD on the Wii-U. I think the gamepad on the Wii-U is genius and has nice touch features and clear HD display. I look forward to playing this game on the Wii-U using the gamepad features.

You can now map items to the control pad AND the x, y and zr buttons! Aonuma didn't talk about it but now there's less going to the start menu to switch an item. I hope they added a new dungeon too.

there is a normal sail speed as well as speedy sail, so u dont necesarily have to go the faster option

I just finished up Windwaker for the fourth time a few months back, and I still really want to play this!!

I love how they present a game that is an HD remake in a video that is in 720P

Two dungeons (I think it was two) were cut from the original game, but they said in a recent interview that they've used them in other games.

Those 10 years went by so fast...

on home consoles yeah, but if you play oot on 3ds the buttons are the same: A for action , B for sword , e.tc

Wind Waker is still on my Zelda bucket list. I've played the game before, but never all the way through. This will be the perfect opportunity to finally finish this adventure!

Considering they want you to have a sense of appreciation for the faster sail, I'd say a good point to get it would be somewhere between acquiring Farore's pearl and right after getting the Master Sword.

The bloom visual effect absolutely kills it for me...

it does have sequels in a sense if you look at the time line you will notice the games are in a set up and do correspond with other games.

i can't believe windwaker was 10 years ago! i remembered when people were mocking it just because it looked cartoony, but when i got my hands on it i spent days on it and collecting the triforces was hard but well worth it at the end.

I think they could improve the triforce quest.Make it so that you must get a specific piece at a specific point in the game, in increments, so that once you finish the Master Sword crafting, you should have most of the pieces. Or scrap the eight pieces and leave it so its after the Master Sword crafting and make it so you look for only the Triforce of Courage, Power and Wisdom. Or a simple prompt from the King between each dungeon to get a specific piece at a specific place and he marks your map

well for me was for a fast momentum was the trick : sail + A (reptely no matter what) to go from island from island , because as he says a Little more faster than the trick you will go to the edge and fell , the thing is that the trick gave the time to reload the map, so no edges of the world for me

It's been a while since I played Wind Waker on my Gamecube. I am actually pretty excited for this! I would love to go back and play my first Legend of Zelda game improved on HD.

They are. They're making Zelda for WiiU, and a sequel to A Link to the Past called A Link between Worlds. This HD remake was basically them completly the dream game they wanted to.

This is a good time to be a zelda fan because WWhd is out in october, a link between worlds is out in november and a brand new wii u zelda next year.

This was a remake, the models are not just rendered in a higher resolution, they have more polygons. It's completely redone

In the video he mentions aiming with the gyroscope. That's what I'm talking about. I don't like using the gyroscope for aiming. I really like the idea of using the pad for menus, just not aiming.

theres more than one version? what were the 2 dungeons and one island? because when i played the game on the gamecube the triforce fetch consisted of using the treasure charts to go out to the sea and use the grappling hook to get the triforce shards out of the water... so? i'm confused, can you please explain?

They said one was almost shown at E3 but it's somewhat short of being ready for showing. Development is going along well. Hopefully we'll get a glimpse of it in a Nintendo Direct in the coming months.

Will tingle tuner still be available? It would be neat if you could use the 3ds for that, but it would make sense to use the wii u pad. I remember inviting my brother to play windwaker after my first play thru just to try out the tingle tuner. The two of us had a good time.

Nice! Hope you try Twilight princess HD too, are you going to get a Switch? Just realised you can play Wind Waker, Twilight princess and breath of the wild all on Wii U which is pretty nuts haha

I don't exactly know since Nintendo never directly told us what these dungeons/islands were. Though the only clue we have is that the main elements of these unreleased dungeons were used in future games. So it's either in Phantom Hourglass or Twilight Princess since I don't think they'd hold the dungeon elements/ideas in games any further than that.

Look up PBG's view of the game. I'm with him on that one, as he said that there may be only a few islands, but there were still cool things and that kept alot of mystery. If you didn't like the great sea, then you're either just impatient or have no sense of adventure IMO. Because atleast every 30sec. SOMETHING would pop up. Some barrels with rupees, a little raft from moblins which you could take over, bombturrets you could take over etc.

Why does the ocean still clip through the boat? The bottom of the boat fills with water whenever the boat bobs down in the ocean. This isn't OK.

i feel that this game dd not need a hd remaster because its art design make it still look great today but it is still cool to have this great game on the wii u
