    We had a friend who was shy and not outgoing and was married for a long time. She did a 180 personality wise and started sleeping around and became the optic shy. She left her husband and found another in a dating website site. She was later diagnosed with glioblastoma of brain and died about a year later. anyone who doesn’t abrupt personality change needs to literally have their head examined, not psychiatrically, but physically

    Certain medications can cause this too. Most people don't realize that self control is an illusion. If something goes haywire in your brain you may become someone different and not even realize it.

    Could also be menopause. Extremely rare but it sometimes comes with a mania like this. Essentially the woman ends up getting a dose of teenage boy hormones instead of her natural estrogen. Same thing happens to girls getting sex changes into boys. It’s essentially roid rage and teenage boy angst and horniness.

    What have we learned: If someone wants a divorce. You need to give it to them.

  • @FactCheckerGuy

    @FactCheckerGuy

    6 ай бұрын

    This isn't 1924. There is no way to stop someone from divorcing if he or she wants a divorce. There is no "giving" someone a divorce. About the only thing to "give" a spouse who wants a divorce is not to contest their desired division of assets, alimony, child custody or some other issue. But people who want a divorce will get one.

    *pre-emptive strike -- I'm not excusing Becky, only offering a possible explanation* Becky exhibits a kind of unfiltered disinhibition like you sometimes see with stroke victims. This particular narration gives the impression she wasn't always that way, but became dis-inhibited around the time she started using expletives. The story about the gun seems particularly careless. We think about chess players thinking several moves ahead, but it seems like Becky didn't even think past the next move. I'm wondering if some brain damage occurred somehow that nobody picked up on.

I actually had patient with vascular dementia who was misdiagnosed as having bipolar with progressively worsening symptoms until ....an RN found imaging showing ischemic brain lesions nobody noticed in her records. More common than you could ever imagine.

    @@markmike7933 possibly if she had been well medicated for a long time, then decided to go off her meds suddenly. Possibly used some drugs and they triggered a psychotic break? Car accident resulting in a brain injury? I find it incredible that the US criminal justice system doesn't put more resources into properly evaluating perpetrators in general. It seems there is less emphasis on getting it right than there is on punishment. I know the UK or Canada would have engaged a forensic psychiatrist for a case like this. So would my country. There's more emphasis on the correct management and potential rehabilitation of the offender than a simple punitive response. If any case needed that, I think this one is it.

    I am a retired forensic psychiatrist. I find your comments to be well reasoned and your analysis to be on target. Videos of the woman would have been helpful. Cluster B traits abound. What I find to be interesting is the apparent change in personality in the direction of increased psychopathology as the murder seemed to be almost a casual event for her. This brought to mind brain pathology such as FT Dementia, a tumor or substance abuse. Interesting. Overall I enjoyed your video. Thank you.

If I want to play around I tell them. If I want to be in a relationship, I tell them. If I am in a relationship and it fizzles out, or I start to get attracted to other women, I leave. Her husband wasn't as lucky,, but I don't get it - - real estate agents are FILTHY rich compared to most other careers,, SHE had more money than he did, WHY the murder? I THINK,, and this is just a theory, my opinion,, that Becky wanted to go from having multiple partners separately, to having multiple partners AT the same time... I find it unusual that she couldn't find enough sleazy real estate guys to do her gang-of-mooks action, be that as it may she probably suggested it to her husband, and when he refused, maybe even saying it was kind of sleazy, that Becky,, like a junkie in the throes of withdrawal, started getting more brazen: Probably she said, well then at least just go to your man cave when I have my little parties, because taking men with careers and reputations of their own to sleazy motels for group activities that EVERY motel staff recognizes,, is getting troublesome and risky and I don't want people to start to talk....... I'm speculating that at this stage her husband (after he picks his jaw up off the floor and decided he was dealing with a REAL psycho) actually started calling her names,, and not only was he going to finally divorce her, and take her for everything he could,, he was going to start spreading the information about her, well, extreme activities and when he was done she'd have all the action she EVER wanted (AND probably a lot of action she DIDN'T,, mobs of weird-ass guys like meth freaks and ex cons and barroom mooks LOOKING for a gang-b@π9 girl to have their rats-ass "fun" with) but not ONE real estate agency would associate with her... Although to try and find a silver lining,, Becky WOULD find lotsa work in "50+" ¶orn video,, that's what I heard anyway... Only one thing left to do...... However, a personality pattern presenting itself in this way only at the age of 50, compatible with a case of severe cluster B personality disorder, seems very unlikely to me, especially when there was a good psychosocial development without any signs of mental illness until the age of 50. Cases like this make me think about late neuropsychiatric disorders, such as a post-menopausal psychotic manic episode, or even some dementia like Pick's dementia, which could even have started with signs of alcoholism and swearing, being aggravated by alcohol consumption. These disorders should be investigated including the possibility of imputability of the crime.

    I came across this in a married woman I was having sex with one night at a bachelorette party where I was working as a "Male Entertainer". While we were having sex that a friend of hers paid for she kept telling me how she had been married 35 years and was faithful the entire time and she didn't know why she was cheating on her husband with me but that she felt free and would have to do this again and again. When she went to the bathroom I went thru her purse and snapped a pic of her ID. The next day I called the Maid of Honor who had hired me thru the service I worked with and I explained about this bizarre situation with this woman who happened to be one of the bridesmaid's mother. I told her I had heard about things like this from a female client who was a Doctor. I told her it was probably a form of Dementia starting or she might have a brain tumor. It turned out she was in the very early stages of Dementia. Sadly, there is nothing they could really do for her but they did start keeping an eye on her 24/7. The bridesmaid thanked me for caring enough to act upon my suspicions and notified her. She offered to pay me but I declined and told her to just keep me in mind for any future bachelorette, divorce, or girl's only parties she might be involved in. Hey, networking is a valuable tool in nearly every type of business and industry LOL.

She had one boyfriend and was married right out of high school with two kids before she was 25. Imo she was likely a covert narcissist before she opened up since there’s evidence of loads of manipulative behavior in this case which I doubt was contained to her intimate relationships. Seems to me she tried a new man for the first time and the novelty set her off.

    I mean that is a possibility, but to be able to suppress that level of insanity for so long is unlikely. It could be that she was predisposed to mania or something like that and something changed in her life to trigger it now. 🤷 Fortunately making more money doesn't trigger mania.

    My ex-wife went through a very similar transformation and our relationship ended very abruptly after 17 years of marriage. At the time she was 54, post-menopausal and unhappy with this stage of her life. She embarked on a series of "hormone replacement" therapies culminating in her doctor inserting pellets of Testosterone that maintained a high blood level of this normally male only hormone. Testosterone is a powerful hormone that men spend a lifetime learning to deal with but in a woman with no such experience the result was predictable. She immediately thought she was a teenager again and indestructible. She became dismissive of me, arrogant and openly promiscuous, frequently going out to have sex all night with new "boyfriends" and treating me contemptuously when she arrived home. She was impossible to reason with and infuriated me. Of course I left and have never seen her since. I wonder if Rebecca had such hormone "therapy" and how many other cases are out there of woman going off-the-rails as a result of such treatment?

She's bipolar with ADHD and borderline personality disorder, managed with a cocktail of meds but about two years ago, her mom found an expired bottle of xanex that had my wife's name on it and gave it back to her. Being severely expired, I encouraged my wife to throw it out but my wife wanted to take some and see if they still worked. Bad idea. Her mental condition deteriorated to the point that I was recording every one of our conversations in secret and had to call 911 when she threatened to kill herself. She was shoplifting, kept leaving her purse in stores, and barely remembers any of it. As soon as she detoxed, she was fine and back to her old self but those two weeks were nightmarish.
