I originally thought Idina Menzel was the only one who could sing this and invoke so much emotion in me I stand corrected this young lady gave me chills and also invoked so much emotion Wow

Laura, the girl singing, we went to school together. I once sent her this song with idina singing it, and said, crikey, I bet that's a tough song to sing. Anyway, fast forward years later, i've gone to bradford to watch wicked, and guess who is lead lady 😂. Everyone who went to school with her knew she was destined for the west end. She is a superstar with bags of talent and bags of confidence. And my word, does this give me thw goosebumps everytime. Beautiful. Tears/shivers, the whole bag.

She was born to play Elphaba she just slays the roll with ease

At first I wasn't sure her voice was strong enough but by the end boy did she prove me wrong. Brought tears to my eyes - phenomenal performance. Absolutely phenomenal. Thank you for sharing this with the world.

I’ve just seen Laura Pick playing this role in Bradford and I was blown away. I’ve seen Wicked a few times but she and Sara O’Conner (Glinda) were unbelievably good and the whole touring cast the best I’ve ever seen. Can’t get it out of my head - thank you for being so amazing

I saw Laura a month ago and was blown away. I think her timbre is so like Idina's but maybe a bit sweeter. Absolutely gorgeous and her interpretation is brilliant.
