I feel like the only times my reels get views is when I do trendy reels and it bores me! But when I make original content it doesn’t get a lot of engagement views or likes

That's my same sentiment. Unfortunately for me, I'm a boho retailer, so trying to fit into a trending sound takes away the integrity of my boho, hippie, 70's throwback theme and audience. It's a catch 22 (whatever that means) I can make some trending videos but my demographic target will not be part of that.

Very good video! I think the root problem is that business owners simply don’t have the time or can’t perceive the payoff of putting so much effort into reels because of all the flops. Going to try these tips out next week.

Right I think these tips don’t apply to business owners really. Instagram is more for content creators and influencers it seems. I’m hearing that we shouldn’t rely on social media to spur up business. It’s a hard balance.

How do you know what's "mediocre"? as opposed to what's good? It's hard to know what Instagram considers "good".

I dont know if you have a lot of viewrs interested in this but can you make a video talking about social media growth for entertainers? I’m a musician and I’m trying to grow an audience that likes the same things I like rather than ask them to listen to me sing. Do you have any tips for this type of content? Cuz I think for example hooks, solutions and teaching things in a “lifestyle/entertainer content” isnt the best route but id love your take on it!!

I just had a Ginger Tea. As I am from India, lot of people prefer to have tea in evening and in winters you can say Tea is love for every Indian. You should also try once and do let me know if you like it or not?

I started making #vanlife content only about 6 months ago, I was lucky and had a viral reel (on insta and fb) right away, and then my handful of other reels all did well also, in the tens and hundreds of thousands of views. Then My cat died and I didn’t make any content for months. This past week I started again and posted a couple reels and they completely FLOPPED. Like barely even reaching my followers, maybe a couple hundred views. I feel like the algorithm gods are punishing me lol Do you think I’ll ever recover from the hiatus I took? I’m trying to not be discouraged, but, here we are..

I am so frustrated because I was doing great and I could’ve been in a whole different place nowadays but took two years off of social media for my mental health because it was consuming the life out of me. Now I’m back at it and my videos are getting 10 views at most. Paying for boosters and still won’t pass the 40 views mark… I’m staying within my niche and it is so frustrating

it's honestly a tough balance! because essentially to grow on any platform these days (youtube, reels, or tiktok) you need to do both quality AND quantity. which is why it's so difficult and a ton of work. It's important to keep both at equal priority and not lean too far one way or the other, or part of your strategy will suffer
