Why Your Creativity Leads Nowhere
So you are creative, but you feel like something is missing. Your work is not as good as it could be, maybe you are even disappointed about what you created. If not that maybe you just don’t start the book you’ve always wanted to write or play the instrument you always wanted to learn in the first place. Or maybe you throw yourself into a variety of creative endeavours but none of them ever reach the finishing line. To me these are the 3 potential problems I want to talk about in this video. You don’t start, you don’t finish or you don’t like the results. I can tell you that I went through all of them and still do at times.

Hope you all have a fantastic year ahead of you. Let's crush 2023! ❤
I hope that when your channel blows up, videos like this will get the recognition they deserve
On inspirations, here is my strategy: because ideas come in at unexpected moments, I would write them down when they appear and store them in my notes section [Ideas Collection]. I also try to formularize all the good ideas in a way that you can have a structure to expand one good idea. For example, I had an idea to create things with one type of plant. Then I ask myself, "what can I do with other type of plants? If I can create 10 things with one type of plant, then I probably could make 10 other things with another type of plant."
Got recommended this video and I can fully relate to this as a software engineer. Thanks for sharing with us and let’s make 2023 a productive year for all of us struggling with procrastination 😅
"Men of lofty genius sometimes accomplish the most when they work least, for their minds are occupied with their ideas and the perfection of their conceptions, to which they afterwards give form." - Leonardo da Vinci (whom I learned was a huge procrastinator because the ideal image of his art he had in his mind was always higher than the physical result...which is the #1 thing he recommends to have as an artist ironically). Thanks for your content, this is becoming one of my favorite channels on KZread right now!
Thanks I really needed this reminder right now, it really is a struggle to not quit when you feel dissatisfied with what you're doing, but there's no growing past that stage if you do quit. In a way I'm learning to convert that struggle into enjoyment, see it as a sign that I'm growing and not stagnating. Kinda like bodybuilding and torn muscles, the only way to grow stronger muscles is to let them tear and build up again and be patient against the pain, effort, and the time it takes.
Exploring these issues most often overlooked by creatives makes it totally awesome. I anticipate the follow-up video.
Definitely talk about your low point and how you fixed the issue of just not being able to work and questioning what you are even doing -- VERY interested to hear your solution to that because I think many of us are going through that exact problem right now
Can you make a video on how your creative process looks like? How you get your ideas and prepare for your videos?
"these are the three problems you might..."
Thank you for this video, it really hits the point. Will keep devoting myself until I reach that breakthrough. Also I wanted to mention that there is something very special about your platform, it has this spark of freshness and innovation, and I look forward to where it will lead us in this journey of life. Wishing you all the best!
I don’t know who it was it was some dude on the Internet and he said something really great that I just wish I had heard 20 years ago. He said all we control is three things: starting finishing and sharing our work. He said everything else is out of our control so there’s no need to worry about it. I think that philosophy would’ve helped me at least finished a lot of my projects but I will get so consumed with if the project was perfect enough to be a success that disco would increase and perfectionism would set in That I wouldn’t finish it.
This channel motivated me to start creating my own content ❤

I really enjoy your content !
Thanks so much! This was just what I needed to hear! I’m about to start 2023 ambitiously pursuing several projects and it’s very nerve-racking and scary but watching this video gave me a little more motivation! I can so relate to everything you are saying. You are really onto some good work here. A lot of people never really go into these creative philosophies about what it actually means to create something just so much focus on the end result and not the process.
really digging your videos bro, keep up the great work!
