You are wrong, the nt usb sounds better than the mini sound wise, its a very good sounding microphone, it does have issues like its capped at 16 bit or doesn’t support software, but sound quality wise its still superior

1. The problem of compatibility can be solved with a dongle, or a proper cable (you are using the MacBook/phone dongle anyway) 2. Either balance the thing properly, or get a boom arm (it will also improve your sound quality) 3. The dials are useful when you're monitoring your voice, and that's about it, and to be honest, having a physical dial instead of software is more convenient imo

Misleading review 👎

1. So? They ALWAYS update it and make new versions 2. Just don't put it SO CLOSE to the edge. 3. The software for the Mini is also compatable with the NT-USB and the dials are important, you just need to know how they work.

I mean, you could always just get something better than the default tripod to hold it.

The shure sm58 ist way older than Rode nt USB and still one of the favorite mics for live vocals. And the stand is not important for the quality of the Microphone . You can even put it on another stand. The Rode NT USB is a great Microphone for homerecordings, Podcasts and more! The Sound is great and you cannot Claim with this price

it came out in 2013. and mine is running since 2014 to 2015. you can also use the software for it. and it sounds a little better. and mine never fall over if you put it to the right angle and dont hit it xD

Sadly I saw this way too late. I have bought it and it's the worse microphone I have ever tried. I mean, even the Samson go mic is better...
