Love it! A midlife awakening ❤
So happy that this conversation is happening! And that we are finally shifting it to a positive experience vs a “crisis.” 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

YES! Down with "crisis," up with AWAKENING!
Male 39 here .. tried to understand why I've been a miserable zombie for months now, and I wasn't even sure if a midlife crisis was a real thing.... I've already told my wife that on my 40th birthday, I'm calling in to work sick, and sleeping right through it 🎉

That’s why I clicked on the video. I thought this was awful that someone should pray for this crisis. It’s terrible to go through. I’m with you.

@@wildflowerblessingsthank you 🙏🏾 I’m gradually growing out of it now. But it felt like it dragged forever. I hope you overcome yours or at least come out of it better. I’m surely there with you. Just know it’ll pass
Redefining and normalizing the midlife crisis as a process of grief and renewal has been long overdue. Amazing work! So helpful. Cycling through the stages of grief could also be used transitioning into motherhood (that was a doozy for me!)

Thank you so much. And yes, ABSOLUTELY. That's a big shocker, too. But if we can give ourselves grace, we will rise!
Crisis or opportunity? I'm so glad we are taking a different approach to this once-taboo subject. Menopause is real! Let's keep talking about Midlife positively!

❤ love it and it is a great idea !
If the result of a mid life crisis is a cook book, than it was anything but an awakening.

That was not at all the point, and Julia Child's Midlife turnaround can certainly not be reduced to a "cook book." I am sorry if that did not land, but the point was clearly made and I thank you very much for watching.

Are you sure I can’t get to a place where I can get my old body back? How about just losing some weight? (bargaining)

I am sure you can! But, I have tried for a very long time, but for many of us - as confirmed by research, it simply gets harder.
