Trichinosis parasites die at 137 degrees Fahrenheit which is medium rare. But it is best to cook to well done to ensure that every part of the meat reaches that temperature. You can also treat trichinosis with Ivermectin something that is readily available and easy to obtain. Also know that trichinosis can be considered a sexually transmitted disease because you can get it through genital contact between two persons regardless of entry or ejaculation.

I'm not sure this is the only advice for dealing with meet with trichinosis in it or possibly even the best advice and what I mean by that is there is the technique of twice-cooked pork which is considered a traditional cooking technique in Asia but what it really is is a way to reanimate the trichinosis spores or eggs or whatever we're calling them and then followed up with a second cooking to kill them. The second method I'm aware of is a -40 degree freeze for several days. I don't know if boiling is going to do it.

Yeah, you should stay away from carnivores like wolf, bear or big cats, but if it's life or death treat them like brisket. It's best to cut it into chunks and freeze it first too beforehand, then slow cook it for a good five-six hours+, when I do brisket I like to pop it in a slow cooker before I go to bed. Once it's cooked personally I'd refreeze it and use it in curry as and when. If any parasites survive that you're fooked, which is why I prefer venison. I hear infested mangy old bear can be very tender and tasty, but I'd prefer to eat my own legs before I'd touch that.
