Why You Should Join a Camera Club
Ғылым және технология
One year ago I joined a local camera club, I think it was one of the best choices I made in regards to photography! In this video I cover 4 reasons I think you should join a camera club, and also how you could form your own

It's been a while since I've made a video, life got in the way but I'm back! I may rethink my upload schedule, but for the time being I'm going to keep my goal of one video a week!

Great points mentioned in this video Eli. Since joining a local camera club I have seen fantastic locations in our area that I never heard of.
Good to see you back. Just hanging around with other photographers in the real world will make you better. I wouldn't recommend Facebook groups they are good to a point, maybe for troubleshooting but there's a lot of hate there...the names I got called for not liking the Lumix S9 was ridiculous. If you can find the right group Discord is often a better space if in real life interactions are going to be difficult. I've owned and made a video even on the EM10 original it's a nice little street camera though I didn't like the on/off switch. I paid 100EUR around 6yrs ago, sold it for more. I originally made videos to practice presentations skills for work, did a little series on cheap street cameras. I haven't made one in about a year, I actually enjoyed it but hard to find the time with busy work and family life
Certainly, not all Clubs are created equal. It sounds like you have found something that is reasonable, useful and satisfying. I went to a meeting of my local camera Club and found something that was based on a fundamentally competitive model - i was nice to everyone, including the Ubergruppenfuhrer, and i didn't go back. I do find, however, that most of the 'needs' you address are easily secured through other channels, so although i also live in a remote location, i don't have any sense of lack through not persisting with the Club - and i do have a nearby neighbour who continues to attend it (while complaining to me about the prevailing competitive ethos). Good vid - cheers and all the best.
Oh my God. He's so ginger that he's starting to turn lemon yellow.
