Was the first fire extinguisher you used ABC? First Alert makes an auto BC extinguisher that uses bicarb. Would love to see a First alert auto BC extinguisher compared to the Halguard. Unless the one you used was a BC extinguisher. $300 just seems like overkill, especially when they recommend changing it every year in hot climates.

Hey Kies Motorsport. I have friend who is having fuel injector issue on his F90 M5. the car has been to the dealership already 4x. Each time the car has been there, different cylinders were misfiring, and the dealership changed the plugs and injector each time. What could be the cause when the injectors are failing on the car? Any input would be greatly appreciate it. He is thinking about lemoning the car, but he loves it so much.

I’d rather have the dry powder unit. Makes a mess but works better imo.

If a modern car catches fire by the time you discharge halon or powder the engine bay loom will be fubar as will any paint job ... I wouldn't worry about the mess of powder. In the UK the environmentalist tree huggers have got halon banned. ... AFFF is also very good but most are not frost protected... I run dry powder in the winter and AFFF spring to autumn (fall)

@@galehess6676 It's Halotron, a halon replacement vapourising liquid. It's not used in the UK & Europe as it's a H-CFC and so whilst far less damaging than halon still has a global warming potential such that it is prohibited over here.
