The 16570 in white is probably top 2 watches I've ever owned. Not sure why but this era of rolex for me is so much better than the stuff they are putting out currently.

Great direction, I felt like they had to because of eBay. But I hate how they have monetised it, and it’s a bit annoying that it’s only available for watches over £5,000.

@@WatchCharter favorite Rolex . Doesn’t attract attention, steel bezel makes it look like a tool not an accessory. Fully reccomend

A box doesn’t matter. Papers do. A box can easily be purchased. Papers cannot. If you can get a super good conditioned watch with papers and no box. You buy it.

like the watch but not too fond of the bezel, the Date just will always be my favorite rolex overall what’s your opinion on vostok watches? they’re the brand that started in the USSR and a die hard fan base, kinda like seikos and casios, where people collect/mod them

I didn’t hear about them until you mentioned them in a previous comment. Their designs look pretty bonkers 😂. Might have to have a gander at some point.

@@WatchCharter haha yeah, some of the cases and bezels are ehhhh, but some of the designs are awesome i usually wear a 1980s komandirskie with the submarine motif, mines not made for the russian navy, it was an export “civilian” model which can be implied by the text at the bottom of the dial but, i also have a an amphibia with a “420” style case, the combination of that and a diving bezel gives a really nice charm to the watch another thing that makes me love them and other russian brands like Probeda, Raketa, Slava ect, are the silly little soviet themed designs, like the Chistopol Sputnik with a space themed dial, or the various USSR armed forces themed dials for the vostok’s, and of course the famous “Scuba Dude” for the Amphibia Raketa is another lovely brand, tho some of their designs seem to be rips from Orient. very interesting brands not many people know about

Hi the one thing that you don't say is it's the 40mm not the new generation 42mm and that's why they seem cheap new generation you not find one under 8k and I bet the older 40mm ones where about that when new.

Super quartz, mate. A73380, currently eyeing up a A73350 in blue.
