I only own one Breitling and that's only because I got an insane deal for a pristine condition year old model making it impossible to lose money. Personally I wouldn't buy a new Breitling because they lose so much. I like the Top Time, but they are so thick.

The depreciation is crazy, and I’ve found the Top Time to be pretty uncomfortable on the wrist.

It's a great brand and they have really good customer service. The top time is a personal favorite of mine

hello muh friend, ever since you showed me the top time, i’ve fallen in love with it. beautiful watch even in my niche corner of the watch world, a lot of better condition vintage watches are coming down a little bit my second vintage 80s raketa 2628H came from ukraine and i got it for cheaper than the first, but it’s in marginally better condition. only issue tho is “frankenstein watches” where the watch is a mash up of multiple different watches… you sometimes see this in luxury watches but it’s very rare to see

@@WatchCharter raketa is definitely a more “luxury” (if you can call it that) oriented brand compared to vostok which is primarily a military themed watch manufacturer old russian watches definitely are weird compared to other brands but they have their charm!

Yeah, it's never a good time to buy Breitling, new or previously owned. Service costs are grossly inflated to the point of criminal and that is just the start.

The service prices are disgusting, Top Time costs around £700, and that’s the Breitling 23 models.
