🌟 Create compelling content that showcases your expertise and attracts high-quality leads.
🛠️ Understand how to use ChatGPT for building precise customer profiles.
📈 Find out how to scale your business by creating scarcity and using effective sales techniques.
💡 Discover how to price your services right and create a demand for your work.
🚀 Explore innovative strategies to harness the power of AI in marketing and design.
🥇 Futur Pro
The professional creative community designed to grow your personal brand, your business, and your network:
thefutur.com/pro
00:00 🔍 Designers need to showcase their expertise; clients won't hire without evidence of skill.
01:24 📝 Start marketing strategies by planning the desired call to action first.
02:34 💡 Discovery calls establish compatibility and are crucial for potential client relationships.
04:13 💰 High close rates might indicate undercharging; 80% close rate suggests undervaluing services.
07:56 💸 Increase rates if clients consistently accept your pricing three times in a row.
09:21 📈 Continuously increase prices until you encounter frequentrejection; it signifies a pricing limit.
11:10 🎯 Create content tailored for a receptive audience willing to afford your services.
13:31 🤝 Build trust incrementally; use permission marketing to slowly escalate relationships.
14:26 📄 Utilize lead magnets like PDFs, videos, or templates to attract potential clients.
17:03 🖼 Develop innovative lead magnets; e.g., quizzes to assess clients' needs and showcase expertise.
20:21 🚀 Unique lead generation strategies, like logo quizzes for target industries, can drive client interest.
21:28 🧩 Understand the platform your customers are on for effective marketing - LinkedIn may work better for professional services than Instagram.
22:37 📢 Use chunking: break down your lead magnet into smaller content pieces, offering snippets and leading to a call to action.
24:12 💡 Always lead with your best content; quality matters when engaging potential clients.
25:10 📝 Engage through comments: provoke engagement to increase visibility; each comment amplifies the post's visibility multiple times.
26:17 🤔 Research your prospects before calls; use content and a call to action to filterpotential clients.
28:22 🎯 Qualify clients through lead magnet interactions; use gathered information for tailored and informed communication.
29:42 🌟 Provide genuine value; the sales process should be about helping, not trapping people.
31:30 🛠 Use AI for customer profiles or buyer personas; leverage ChatGPT for generating insights on customer desires, needs, and objections.
36:41 👥 Customize AI-generated content by training it on your writing style; ChatGPT can mirror your tone to maintain brand consistency.
39:01 🤝 In sales, focus on understanding the customer's "why" and let them sell themselves by asking guiding questions.
42:00 💬 Avoid rapid closing questions; create a safe space for the client to keep selling themselves to you.
43:14 🍔 The fitness coach manipulated the truth to make the program appealing, understanding the client's inability to commit to the full truth.
46:50 🏋‍♂ Demonstration of expertise through consistent content creation and leveraging social proof can significantly impact attracting clients.
50:31 💡 Emotional commitment and the use of scarcity tactics in sales can profoundly influence potential clients to commit.
51:23 🔒 Establishing multiple commitment points and creating a comfortable, casual environment in sales conversations can boost conversions.
53:20 💰 Handling objections gracefully, offering discounts for prepayment, and emphasizing commitment lengths can incentivize clients.
55:56 📈 Communicating your finite capacity and creating exclusivity around availability can enhance your perceived value and demand.
58:16 💡 Implementing filters and charging for your expertise can effectively manage client inquiries and establish value perception.
01:00:10 ⏳ Gradually increasing pricing to manage demand and using high rates to filter and control the flow of clients can optimize workload and value perception.

I needed this SO badly. I'm not exaggerating; after spending 6+ hours today watching your videos, I have NEVER felt so inspired and compelled to CONFIDENTLY recreate my brand and content strategies. I've been going around and around in circles, and this just made me sit and breathe, knowing I can do this without hiring someone for $5,000 a month that I do not have right now. You and your team are amazing.

What a journey, 2016 i started following this channel, studied the basics of graphic design from Chris and the team, which led me to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. Fast forward 2023, I run a branding agency here in Jakarta for over 2 years, still learning from thefutur, but more on the business side 🤣. Heck, actually one of my dreams might be booking a coaching call one day with you chris!

Not gonna lie I gave up on trying to get my own clients T.T. Got frustrated and deleted my website and online presence for everything and got myself a salaried job. I know I’m limited in growth here to a messily 3% increase a year but I’ve accepted it for the stability it brings. I may have given up but it’s nice to see young hopefuls going for it in the design world. Hope y’all make it.

Its okay buddy, no shame in what you did. Everyone just promoting business, "Oh do you own business, be your own boss" ... well that same, boss guy/gal will still need employees to run its business. So, I think if your job pay well, gives you mental freedom and time for family and friends, and your normal things are taken care of like, car, house, food. Than its all good.

I'm truly sorry to hear about the tough time you're going through, the loss of hope you're feeling. It's hard to see someone with such potential facing this kind of frustration. Remember, you're a client too, and with your background in marketing, you're uniquely equipped to map out your own pain points. Try to reflect on what led you to this moment of surrender. If others have succeeded where you've paused, it may not be about the theory but rather the application, or perhaps the internal barriers you're facing. Consider this: sometimes our knowledge is clouded by fear, by unresolved pain. Understanding the true value of your goals, quantifying why and how much they should fill your life, can shift your perspective on the future. A clear vision for the future fuels motivation in the present, driving us to craft a different tomorrow. With your ability to dissect and overcome client objections, you can apply that same clarity to your own doubts. I hope in time, this resonates with you, and you find the energy to invest in yourself again. The pain of giving up speaks to the importance of your dreams. You may not fully grasp their significance or the path forward yet, but I believe you can find it. Here's to hope and the journey ahead. ❤

I gave up once. Quit and walked away. Got to work on something more stable. Years later I find myself interested in business, marketing, branding, and all that. Now I’m spending hours a day studying this stuff on my own. Reading dozens of books and using KZread as a resource. Just found Chris Do recently but have spent hours watching his educational content. Working on crafting my own comeback story now. Maybe there will come a time when you are ready to make a comeback story as well.

After taking computer programming, I’ve realized that if I plug in life situations into a formula, it helps me process and understand to solve the problem. This formula is changing but helps me create, a system, as you describe it. It’s awesome to know that this too, can have a structure that we can learn and adapt to our needs. Great comment! Its helping me make these connections.

This might be THE BEST VIDEO EVER for those of us trying to up our sales game. 🚀 So, here’s the deal: when someone reaches out, it’s clear they’re curious, but probably need more info, right? 🤔 My take? It’s all about educating them. And honestly, there’s no guilt in that - you’re just helping them out. 📘💡 Now, if things don’t pan out and you don’t end up working together, it’s actually a win-win. You’ve helped them dodge a decision they weren’t ready for, and both of you save precious time. 👍🤝 Bottom line - it’s all about that perfect match, for you and your client.🌟 And hey, just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for sharing that video! 🙌 The insights and guidance are incredibly valuable. It’s amazing how a fresh perspective, practical exemples and MATH can completely change our approach to sales. Deeply appreciative of the knowledge shared!

I think when you raise your prices and you wait for a month before you get a new client, thats in America! But here in Africa things are 3X slower, so i waited 3months before i got higher paying clients…i almost freaked out and thought i lost all my clients 😂 By then i was already venturing into other businesses…

One actual question: The sales process applies mostly to people who can just decide themselves based on their feeling (like you did with the personal trainer). But how about a 'gremium' like some marketing department who're looking for a webdesign company? I'm not sure how they make decissions, but certainly differently.

Chris - genuinely love your content, and I share it all the time - this may be a hot take, but I have to say that I perceived some egotism around the 31:00 mark wherein you come off disrespectful to the woman up front. While I feel that these highly valuable presentations have a "rushed" vibe to them based on your pacing and tone (likely due to the time-sensitive nature of the event), it's important to remember that it's easy to come off patronizing when sharing such valuable information at a rapid pace to an engaged audience. Cheers.

The crime in higher Ed is that this is not taught every semester for four years alongside the major, which tells me the system is still structured to merely produce good, compliant workers. Empowerment is reserved for the few who either already have access to it or those who up there road piece it all together, but for many this level of putting it all together comes far too late

My major challenge is attracting low budget jobs from small businesses. I don't know how to get in front of large companies. I gave the skills and talent, i can sell like a pro. The other major challenge i obviously take responsibility fur as a failure is portfolio. I become self deprecated when I'm by myself trying to demonstrate how good i am and the project ends up a mess.

Sounds like you already may know some of the issue that you need to work on. You mentioned that you have the skills and talent but also mentioned that the project comes out a mess. Seems like conflicting statements. And clients can pick up on these things.

I only listened to the first few minutes until the part about not charging enough. I understand all that andkinda agree, but I believe your company nedds a backend. You initial sale should not becessarily be your most expensive sale. So every paying customer you get should be a prospect for your backend. If you raise your initial sales price and your close rate drops, you're cutting clients out of your front end AND your backend. Sure, if you don't have a backend, maybe raise your initial price. But my closing rate was 80, I'd work on getting it to 100 because I can triple their LTV once they buy into the backed.

Just started this process using AI, and it is making me cry. Watched your vid this morning on my exercise bike, always have a degree of skepticism, and sometimes you piss me off but again I'm biting my tongue. AI is the consultant I could never afford, and you of course. In my 60s. You can use me as a case study in a few years. Ha!
