The dude is pure gold at explaining things that other teachers are unable to put into words.

Well said because not many teachers can do that
That last tip is gold. Big thing that I’ve been working on. I can get in range and use head movement to get in but my opponent is already covered or ready to slip my rights. It’s because I’m coming from a straight line position. Def going to drill your last point!

Lol I like that! 🥊
Coach: Boxing is about managing SHORT distances. Short little movements. Not big ones.” Game changing for me
Thank you, Jason! This is something to keep in mind especially when coaching novice / beginner boxers, and particularly in the context of kickboxing styles of combat, where "distance" plays a different and possibly even more important role than it does in boxing. Peace! :)
thx coach i just admire your simple but professional way of teaching ❤❤❤
Great teacher , you chase that old school knowledge and always keep it real, for me, I had also th troubles u mentioned, but one thing stand out, I couldn’t really turn my hips properly and use my weight, once I’ve learned that now my hand goes fast, snap it u know. Indidnt use my legs and hips and didn’t snap the punch. Thanks for the content great coach.
What a superb video! I found it very helpful in terms of developing proper mindset. I got exactly same problems with right hand you mentioned. Big thanks.
I would say you are the BEST trainer on KZread keep up the good work 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for your advise coach! I experience this problem a lot since I got a hard right on my eye after throwing a right hand

thanks a lot. very valuable info 🙏
Bro thank you so much, I needed this
Those short distance changes are what make foxes so hard to catch. You think you got it cornered, but it does a jut, flip, twist and change directions and all the hounds bump heads and the horse overruns, and the hunter can't get a clean shot.

Amazing
hier heb ik zoveel aan !!!top
This is a big problem of mine that my coach just pointed out and I do this shit subconciously
YES SIR❗
I take boxing lessons. I am a south paw, so my right is the jab. My left is the power. My coach says that to help with power, do forearm exercises. So I do.
@connor3284

Interesting suggestion. I guess hypertrophy of the forearm muscles would add some mass to the lower part of your arm which should add power to a punch. Is that his reasoning?
Hi coach, I need some advise, cuz I dont know how to drill. What are reps and sets to a drill? I wanna improve in boxing, but ion have the financial abilities to go to a gum. Thank you
Literally today had a sparring session facing this problem
Super
No fear to broke the right
I always get pain at the back of the hip when twisting the hip withe right hand my brother too has this issue and it prevented him from participating in boxing championships
🥊
boxing ❤
most important things really is having an exit plan or multiple and practicing them
tk of video, i really have problem like this, now i see
Whenever I land left near right is always there
İ have a problem with the right hand it’s i can use it very effectively but going head to head, I can’t use it effectively if i be technical and in this situation i need to lean on the left hand
I suffer from only sending my arms when punching, I am trying to fix this by constatntly focsuing on my footwork.
I have seen coaches teaching tips and tricks on how to box but most of them have the orthodox stance but I'm a southpaw so it's really hard for me to follow them since I'm only a beginner, can u give me some advice?
@PrecisionBoxing

Use you right hand to control the orthodox left. Your straight left is like your jab. Throw that donw the pipe and follow it with a right hook. This as a starter combo can be great if you are unpredictable.

You look like a cross between GSP and Joe rogan 😄
I used to throw my right like a medieval ball and chain it was my favourite punch 🤜 but then my shoulder went out dislocated and many boxers Thai boxers etc have retired for that reason !. Once you do that a few times it makes you hesitant to throw it your brain won’t allow it it’s built in to protect you from detaching your arm from your body it’s a horrible annoying injury and it not one I wish on my worst enemy!
Do you have instagram coach
