This actually helped me so much man. I currently have a 60 Barb, 45 Rogue, and like 25 or lower fo other classes I haven’t put much time into, but I’ve been focusing on my barbarian and I’m so overwhelmed with all of the stats and nervous that I’m doing something wrong literally all the time. I’m going to go over my build on my rogue and barb and hopefully with this information I can make some decisions. Great vid man, thanks for putting it out it’s truly the help I needed and I’m sure plenty of others did as well.

Explaining what the stats are and what they're good for to new players is one of D4s biggest weaknesses, so I am glad you're making videos to help spell things out.

@@jcs.819 Oh we'll have non-rogue stuff coming much quicker than you might think ;) My plan (in order) is: Rogue -> Druid -> Sorc -> Necro I don't currently plan to do barb, because there are a lot of very good barb creators & I don't personally enjoy the barb playstyle

Another great video! im still thinkin if i should keep my imbu dmg and crit dmg with imbu or just Change it to the crit damage or flat damage for my barrage rogue. Oh and btw i think this video will be a banger for most who dont understand how it works. Thank you, again.

Great video! Though my brain has been severely damaged after watching way too many videos trying to understand what i’m doing in Diablo 😂 I never know what I should sell and what I shouldn’t, what I should keep, what I should put an aspect on, etc. I doubt i’ll ever fully understand to be honest lol

I really wish they relase a type of build wardrobe, where we can change build fast enought, and sabe those pieces of armour on that particular slot 😢 It’s so hard to test builds in D4!

What’s your opinion on bows with higher flat dps and lower rolled stats vs lower flat dps and higher rolled stats? Is flat dps a priority over perfect rolled stats? Thanks

People need to understand that just bcos an item gives you +200 doesn't mean that is good for you. The stats are REALLY important... (Crit, vulnerable dmg, defense, etc)

That's what I'm trying to drive home here! Well, +200 is sort of a big deal especially on a weapon, but for most armor pieces the green numbers are just a trap for new players.

Your explanations are so helpful, you explain things in terms that are easy to understand, so thank you for that. Question about aspects... how do you determine which piece of equip to put an aspect on? I know some can only go on certain types, but for example, how would you determine if you want to put Trickshot onto the weapon, or the amulet? Or does it really matter?

You're welcome trevath, I'm glad you enjoy my explanation style :) First, there's a bunch of things to consider around your level. For example while leveling from 1-60 I wouldn't imprint an aspect on your weapon at all, unless you REALLY need it for power (because it's expensive) Your 2H weapon (rogue's bow) is 200% of the original value. IE: If edgemaster's is 10-20% on a ring, it's 20-40% on a weapon. Your amulet is 150% of the original value. You are trying to put your most important aspects on the right pieces to increase the amount you're benefiting from the best aspects in your build.

Whats your opinion on Injured Damage Reduction Gems vs Max HP ones? My current understanding is: if not getting one-shot, go the prior, otherwise the latter. Do you agree?

I wish gear would show the base line before upgrades in a different colour.

Very well explained video, so the red stat’s and green stats don’t matter as much just look for stats you want??

The problem I have right now is getting gear with the actual stats I want. I'm playing a necro shadow mist build, so damage reduction and cooldown reduction are the two stats I want. I haven't gotten a single piece of gear, yellow or legendary, with either of those two stats on them. After hundreds of dungeons (if not thousands) and doing full clears on every single one, it's getting a bit old. And I don't mean, oh it's got cooldown reduction but everything else sucks. I mean literally never once have either of those two stats appeared on a piece of gear for me. Not one time.

Moved away from penshot and full into rapid? And btw is a build guide for rapid fire coming? Thanks for the great content

Hello Valued, quick question. are core dmg/close dmg better than +dex in terms of dmg output? Let's say build already met paragon dex requirement, should you still stack up dex? or its better to have core dmg/close dmg. Thank you!

I would say core damage is usual marginally better - you'd have to get a massive dex roll to beat your usual core dmg roll. That being said, maybe your build focuses on getting ult as often as possible and can oneshot bosses or something crazy. It's also worth noting that on certain pieces of different gear you can roll different affixes - so if you currently have dex on your gloves but you want + rank or crit chance instead it would be an upgrade if you can roll it on another gear slot and replace the dex on your gloves for one of those stronger affixes.

one thing that i see youtuber and twitch lying is about ancestrals being worse than sacred, no, they are better (the yellow ones) the power stance means that all the stats are higher, so never make a sacred when you can use ancestral, they say is wrong, is not. They have HUGE BETTER STATS- The issue here is when you want to extract aspects, that is what everything goes wrong, because a normal legendary can have BETTER POWER than a regular, but this is cutted too when you extract the legendary and you extract from a 2 h weapon or an amulet (because they are amplified) but when you get from other parts of the gear, take it, white aspects mostly are way better than ancestral. I think this is a misunderstanding. Also, there are things like lucky hit, or overwhelm chance, or crit chance, etc that are huge issues, because they doesn´t let you chose well, because you need to focus on your build that maybe will not work tomorrow- And the average loot is capped in the world tier, they can give you 800+ but most of the time you get even being ancestral they are above 700, and it means the stats are worse, even if you want to change it in the occultist. Also you have made this video over and over again, is not from yesterday, i´ve seen this video in my youtube from weeks, maybe is a hacker or something, but this video is from weeks ago and doesn´t explain anything, just "focus on other things than the dps".

So my question is when Should i start farming legendarys for a build? I dont wanna farm at 50 then refarm at 70 then 80 then 100 if its pointless should i just use my highest stat stuff till 100

In D3 there was a button that compares 2 items on there un upgradet ( no Gem) values why is this no thing in D4 ?

How do you have big life though? I'm level 83 and my life only 6000. Is it more of a paragon issue? Would appreciate a reply. Thanks

I find survival a big issue going into wt4. Its insanely difficult to tell wtf even make you tankier ehen better gear isn't more def. Like damage make sense but defense make nonsense.

I usually sit an swap gear back an forth an watch too see if my numbers go up i think I'm doing good I'm surviving T3 easy asf an I'll be here till 60 then I'll try an head to t4

I did t4 on my rogue and it took some time and some really careful playing but it was doable, depending on your class you’ll be able to do it pretty easily

They should really æet us enchant 2 stats. With how the prices are, it's gonna be balanced enough

I'm not sure if this will help you kill Lilith; I am not the caliber of D4 player that you are. I found an Aspect that drops a poison pool when you damage an enemy with Poison Imbuement (it says that, but I've found this pool drops when I use puncture, even when I have Shadow Imbuement on) when you stand in the pool you get zero CD on Poison Imbuement and do not consume charges of Poison Imbuement. This is a hard reset to Poison Imbuement.

Does Lilith drop better gear than nightmare dungeons? Wondering what the value is in building specifically to fight her

It's just for the accomplishment of killing her, and to test your skills. She's not worth fighting for gear or anything really other than the challenge.

so basically my whole gear is around 60% best in slot, i am lvl 71 but i get killed by 2 shots in tier 21 nmd WT4, i dont want to give up my best in slot weapons with all the crit dmg to ancestrals with lower crit dmg,vurnerable etc. , but i think i have to now, bc my gears item power gets stuck so low i get dropped crossbows with +600 dmg per sec more and 790 item power but i dont want to use em bc they only have 2 good stats and i hate losing vurnerable/crit dmg, in mid game i was destroying enemies 12 levels above me, but now my dmg i still great almost one shot most of the enemies but when i get hit 1-2 times i basically die lol, what can i do? should i use my def aspects now on my old sacred gear i use rn or wait to upgrade to ancestral but with less better stats? :( i need help

is there a way of i can roll for exempel 1 more boni on the gear piece got some good rolls on ring cc cd and live but how i can get 4 rolls on it only by dropping the ring with 4rolls?

Love your videos! What are your thoughts on the Haunted Crossbow? The ‘unique’ mob with higher than 825 item level? It only has 3 stats instead of 4. I’ve been farming it a while and got 832 one. Just wanted to make sure its worth the time lol

I'm in a pickle Valued and I need your opinion. I found a 787 ancestral condemnation but my current dagger is 759 with vulnerable damage, crit strike damage, crit strike damage with imbued and core skill damage all with good rolls. Which are you taking?

How much a dps upgrade on weapons is worth? I dropped a 824 sword with only 3 affixes(1 good, 2 bad), which gives me a 150dps upgrade compared to my 804 sword with 4 affixes (2 good, 2 bad), and i'm still not sure how much dps value on a weapon is worth compared to good affixes.

Which build are you playing? A ranged focused or melee?

If you’re ranged then a melee weapon won’t affect you. Prioritize stats over DPS. But if you’re melee then the DPS on the weapon is important, but situational depending on which stats you might lose.

it feels like they patched 800 weapons to make them exponentially more rare, sometime in the last week or week and a half... prior to that 800s were nowhere near as rare

I also feel this. I've been at level 100 for over a week and haven't gotten many upgrades at all.

I’m level 85 and I feel like everything dies really really quickly. I feel like there should be a WT5 or WT6. WT4 is just way way too easy

Try nm 60-70 or more

This is not right. My problem is on their one I keep dying before level 10 with every character but necromancer and barbarian but with them I die at 30 it just becomes a cycle of death death death. I have to go back to town after every fight just to be able to kill one or two of them. This game you never actually level to the power house fun character that 3 had and to be frank I kinda want my money back

I’m level 100. The game scales and it doesn’t fell like other Diablo games, power scaling isn’t as fun as previous iterations.

The #1 reason you feel weak is Blizzard choosing the nuclear option when they balanced this game

Good video, but just curious why does your game look so washed out and grey?

Tier 4 is to much math and knowledge not enough fun and enjoyment killing things and learning up.

Way too many stats to keep track of... Makes the game unnecessary hard... Sure, great that one have options... But It's a tad on the 'overly complicated' side...

the worst thing about Diablo 4 is, it isn't easy to understand, not intuitive. You have to study fck everything in detail. I wished it was so easy to build a char like in Diablo 3. Not getting really warm with Diablo 4 since i have not that amount of time to play the game like it is needed. Could have spent 100$ better...

Level Scaling ruined D4.

Feel weak cause 80% of the skills of every class are useless and do no dmg lol 😂

what i dont get is i see all these dudes making videos on how to to builds, they show the build, gear, paragon boards, how to play it, etc. but when i examine their aspects/imprints they have something INSANE that i have never seen before. example one aspect in a necro build shadowblight key passive does 40-80% increased damage after it does damage 10 times. ive never seen ANYTHING higher than 40-80% on a 2 handed weapon drop. dude in his D4 planner has 240% imprint!!! how !?!? i get 800 item power 2handed aspects that arent above 80% how does this guy have 240%!??! exploit? bug?
