Exactly. Udhari aur un-professional hone ka thappa. Mai pure 1½-2 saal tak achhe se, respect se, smile k sath baat kiya customers se... naatak nhi, mai aisa hi tha hamesha se jolly. Lekin fir maine notice kiya: ek toh sabne mujhe udhari pe hazaaro ka chuna lagaya. Aur high profile/company/organization -level pe manners dikhao toh customers impress happy hote hai, lekin wahi politeness manners ek dukaandar local level pe dikhaye toh kayi baar uska ulta matlab nikalte h customers. Sochte hai ki khaali pili baithta hoga tabhi itna maska laga raha h, nau-sikhiya hoga tabhi professional nhi lag rha, ek dukaandar hi toh hai...zyada hi hoshiyar ban rha. Kisi ne kaha nhi, ye baate unke chehre pe dikhti thi. Actually local customer ek normal shopkeeper ko only as a shopkeeper hi baat karte dekhna chahta hai, koi company executive jaisa inse politely, smile ke sath baat hi nhi karna kabhi. Ye experience 2 saal me hazaro customers dekhke aya h. Pehle udaas hota tha, par ab mai kadak professional aur short me hi baat krta hu jitna zaruri hai, no smile, no over respect, no chupda-chupda bolna... Yahi chahiye tha unko.

Tip nom 1 always open the shop before your competitors tip nom 2 , always charge less than your competitors tip nom 3 Always give something extra than your competitors

I practised these tips in my early days. Now, thanks to my experiences, i have whole new set of tips. Your given tips are fine and easy. Any innocent beginner can tell these. These tips are only focused on welfare of customers.

Set a restaurant which can attract people : 1) Make your menu simple 2) Restaurants should be at the right spot(meaning that there should not be a major competitor nearby) 3) Should have a good service (gave enough seats for people especially for the regular ones and be kind and helpful)
