Thanks for the "to the point" video. Those you listed out are the techniques. We implement them, slow, steady with consistency and depression will go. I did start journaling and it went away within few months. I attest to this.

YES YES YES, it has taken me 3 years to understand that most of my problems come from the neglect and abuse I had as a kid. I could not for the life of me fight all the dwelling and self-hate. Once I confronted my mom about it all she understood, agreed, and I let it all out. Year 1 I had to learn all I could about life and time management, Year 2 I kept trying to do everything and couldn't do anything, Year 3 has been me going on a plane for the 1st time, using uber with a stranger, and now finally understanding that none of it was my fault. Now I can think straight and go after my dreams more and more

@@redmetalpanda9051 I know right, I haven't brought it up in years cuz she said she was tired of hearing about it and that it's in the past and to get over it, yet she has not gotten over anything that happened to her in the past. She just likes to play victim and admit things 10 years later, poor excuse of a person and "mother"

@@jonathanbassett3656 you have done more work on yourself than she ever really did it seems. It's hard being neglected, feeling abandoned by the people who are by nature supposed to make you feel wanted and loved. But in concrete reality, in the present, she's just one person that you don't need anymore. You can now choose who's in your life as long as they want to, you can definitely choose who's not, you can be the one person that you need as well, because you are the only person that will ever want to act in your best interest always (even if you do harm to yourself or seemingly put the others before yourself, it is always coming from a place of taking care of your own needs) So see if you really need her in your life for what she is now, accept that she might never change and that if she does, she'll seek you, trust people and talk about your trauma (you will create connections, you will normalize your trauma, because everyone has their own), but let go of the past, let go of expectations, don't make her more important than she needs to be to you. Live your life for what it is now and what it could be if you just let the bad stuff that you have no control.over behind.

Hi I had a very abuse past- almost 10 years of my childhood since young age... by my elder brother, abandonment by father... busy and depressed mother. I am 23 now gonna be doctor next year and This was the Plan I developed As an Intellectual adult Inside my 8th grader child body... you see I have OSDD ADHD Currently Depression, and moderate wt. loss... I really don't see any point in staying with family... I have witnessed my happiness in new places, new PPL, their Love at times melts my inner child's heart like butter on hot pan... 😂 I really suggest Find your Journey... because whether you like it or not world is moving, everyone is moving... you are the observer.. everything that bothers you rn, will also cease to exist, you just need to believe in this much objective Reality and move on... if you feel like crying cry, if you feel like laughing laugh... then also rethink about why any laugh is as necessary as unnecessary it is.... because feeling those emotions so deeply and then coming back to senses is Healing, because it's a quick reminder of accelerating increase in Entropy of universe... and that it has your back, via your immunity, kidney, skin, vasculature, Hormones, glands, Sub-conscious... constantly working to keep you alive... they are the reason you are Able to be you, each and every next second... So treat your body and Sub-conscious well...
