This should be the ONLY speedflip tutorial. Been trying to figure this out since C1... almost GC now and after watching this video can finally do it. You're the speedflip GOAT.

So many hours of *blip blip* reset *blip blip* reset *blip blip* .. I had a feeling the touchdown time might factor in.. appreciate it man and so do my fingers I hope I can finally reach the ball Also for those using air roll to diagonal flip, I found the adjustment from slight turn to diagonal flip (that isn’t too diagonal) is really precise and hard to coordinate

I’ve been trying to learn the speed flip and haven’t been doing it fast enough. Thanks for the video because now I understand what I was doing wrong.

Ty so much dude. This is probably the best video out there, too bad more mainstream rocketers get all the views. This couldnt be explained more briefly than you did. Thanks again PS: A little tip for the deadzone that almost nobody knows about. Go to any replay, put the camera on fly and put ur deadzone on 0.00 then adjust by 0.01 until the camera stops moving. If you could put this in another video so more people know about this that'd be cool.

@@aDadwhoCares controller deadzone. It's often set to 0.10 (or more for older remotes), but new controllers can often be set to 0.08 or 0.09

This was the most in depth tutorial I’ve seen And it made speed flipping easier

Wow... I would hit 1 of 100 where 92 were so close and I couldn't figure it out. The tip about resetting the shot and waiting for your car to land was 100% the reason I couldn't hit it. TY so much!

I play on PC and even though the controller info wasn't as useful for me, you helped me find my flaw when performing speed flips. I was constantly jumping to late. Immediately fixed that right up and now I'm extremely consistent with it. Many thanks for making this video to help clear that up.

Thanks for the comment! Too low of a deadzone can cause you to backflip so if that happens turn it up to something comfortable.

@@KingpinSensei i suggest you make a video about "STALLING" thats a mechanic i still keep on failing, i can only stay in place but cant cancel the full rotation itself , or just about flip cancel or some sort

I've watched a lot of tutorials that made me feel like I was doing it correctly without a successful result. This is the first video I watched that within 5 attempts I had successfully hit the ball in the training pack. I think, and they are all useful tips, the most useful tip for me was lowering my dodge deadzone. I had it at .60 and lowered it to .15 and I hit the ball within 5 attempts

after months of learning and trying I new I could speedflip, just barely couldnt get to the ball fast enough. but after i watched this video i almost instantly got it

I use my thumb for A and my index is for B, so I can basically speed flip

Finally someone who says to pull the stick straight down not to the opposite side thats what other tutorials say and i was wonering why can't i do a speed flip a was doing everything right exepct the cancel... Tysm for correcting me😊

I did it, after 10 hours. Thank you so much. My mistake was as you said, don't keep the joystick down. If someone is struggling with this, this might help: If you are cancelling too slow, think that you have to cancel before doing the second jump. Use manual air roll. Automatic one difficults the angle of dodge.

Holy shit, mistake #2 got me bad. I've been able to do the speedflip for a while now, but I could never hit the ball in this damn training pack, so there was always a nagging feeling in the back of my head that I was doing something wrong. Turns out I just needed to wait for the car to settle on the ground before going for it... I can hit it consistently now, thanks a ton!

If you start backflipping a lot more, turn your Dodge Dead-zone back up to a comfortable level. (Thanks Ungoliant0 from Reddit for suggesting this tip) If you're following these tips and still not getting, adjust the timing of your jump slightly, jump a little earlier or try a little later.

Nice! So I've actually been holding air roll left for the entire motion as well, I find that it makes the speed flip even faster. I usually aim the stick straight forward since I'm holding air roll and executing a diagonal flip anyway, might help.

Tip: if you don't flick fast enough backwards, your car will turn backwards

I'm getting the hang of it pretty fast. I've finished a training pack 2 times now (you cant beat a speed flip training pack unless you actually perform the speedflip). However, my speed flips are really inconsistent. I dont want to use them in matches just yet. I'm trying to improve my gameplay speed since not many people are fast in platinum lol

This tutorial is 3 years out and i just discovered it yet, the tip with the Dodgezone on the controler has never been mentioned. ill try it out but i guess i will make alot mor backflips when fast aerialing xD

I've wasted ages trying to figure out why I can't speed flip and now I'm straight triggered. I was just going before the car was on the ground. That's it. YIKES. Thanks for the one video that helped

Thank you for the video ❤ Still cant do it. Almost every time I try speedflipping, I notice some sparks/contact of the car, I think when being at atound 3/4 of the rolling motion. Also, my car does not seem to flick up slightly as I see this happeing in pro speedflips. Any idea on what being wrong? Btw, both appears even with all bars on green in Mustys training pack combined with the Bakkesmod speedflip checker.
