By far the most comprehensive guide for the AirRoll L/R method and I've finally been able to pull off my first one after making pretty much every possible mistake! I was getting really frustrated trying to work out exactly what I was doing wrong and your video finally helped my smoothbrain figure it out. Really well done mate

Bro, believe me, I have been trying the speed flip for more than 1 month with no result..I knew I was doing the flip cancel right but something was not clicking. Just saw this video and the mistakes portion highlighted my faults, which was basically turning beforehand without an initial forward motion and jumping too late. Within 5 min, 1 month of frustration just vanished. Keep up the good work bro. Learned the Directional Air roll mech from Tipp and finally implemented the actual speed flip with the help of your video. Thanks a lot.

Nice video man, I’ve been at it for almost 2 hours and these videos have helped. I really underestimated the amount of tilt to put in the joystick and the start of the training pack making you land was actually a big problem. Also the turning about three degrees tip of the opposite of your air roll was really helpful as well

This is taking forever to learn, finally can hit every once in a while in training thanks to this. Using the bakkesmod speedflip plugiin and a couple times got everything green and still didn't the ball. I think it my case it was due to not holding air roll quite enough, and not power sliding on landing.

Imma say it again great job man I actually love you so much because today I saw the old speed flip tutorial and now I can do it but keep up and you deserve way more subs than this

Hi! Thanks for the video I've never been this close to succeed! I have 2 questions, first do you need to hold the jump button after the flip ? And secondly you say that after the diagonal flip we must push the analog stick straight down but just after holding down you go a little bit left then right, is it mandatory ?

1) No you don't need to hold the jump button, in fact, you want to avoid this so your car spends less time in the air, I sometimes do it accidentally. 2) Again straight down is what you want, what you saw is unintentional stick movement but it's almost impossible to be super accurate so don't worry but yea, straight down is the objective Let me know how you get on

You have to flip to the opposite side you turn, you can use air roll left but just turn to the right instead. Hope that helps

I have the Problem that if I do a Speed Flip (I do it with directional air roll right because its easier for me to do the movements) i slightly touch/hit the ground while speed flipping and I think thats why I can´t reach the ball in time (in mustys speed flip training pack) and I don´t understand why im hitting the ground..... maybe you can help me out or know what im doing wrong..

I know that when doing the MANUAL Speedflip you hit the ground when you do too much of a front flip instead of diagonal.. that said I'm not sure if it's the same reason with Directional

I have Air Roll left binded to square. my regular air roll and powerslide to L1 on a playstation controller. Do you think I can speedflip using the square button? I have boost on R1.

It all depends on if you can press them while boosting, if you can, then it's fine.

I have my powerslide on X and I am used to it so I cant change it but I cant boost (B) and powerslide at the same time :/ Is it impossible without powerslide ?

If you land perfectly then you don't need powerslide but that's rare, if your car isn't directly facing the ball when landing, you need powerslide to keep the momentum going forward otherwise you'll change direction as you land.

This may sound weird but I press boost with the tip of my thumb, then I tap jump with middle of my thumb. You can use a different setup find mine weird

You can, it would be better to switch but no one has that many spare buttons so it's not a big issue. I sometimes also use the manual air roll instead.

I can do the speed flip with ease and win kickoffs with the octane but not the dominus? It feels so weird and landing it feels different.

Hitboxes are different, the Dominus is a little smaller so you have to jump a tiny bit earlier into the ball than you would with the Octane, otherwise you won't be hitting the center of the ball which is important to get a strong kickoff.

that means you're pretty close, I hit it shortly after reaching this stage. Just try to change some things ever so slightly, jump a little bit earlier, try holding down the cancel bit longer etc. It might be that your hand movement needs to be faster.

In the air Boost is enough but on the ground I would also hold R2, might not do anything when boosting but I always hold it on the ground.

Dude i feel your pain haha. Whats your configuration? I have never really used drift unless i press drift and brakes at at the same time to turn fast, which is on square, but thats my bigest struggle getting this speed flip down, the drift. I have boost on r1 and air roll left on l1. I tried reg air roll/drift on L1 but couldn't for the life get it down, but if i could get it on r1 i would probably get it down

​@@aquamayne8168 r2 drive, r1 air roll right and drift, l2 reverse and air roll, l1 nothing, square air roll left, triangle reverse cam, circle boost, x jump. Yea man it's a pain. I got it once in the training pack but literally had to change my buttons around and still only managed once in 30 minutes. Felt not worthwhile to try and teach my brain all new buttons after so long. So I'll either neevr get it or have to manage to pull it off with what I have.

@@danieldummett3731 dude thats a wild ass controller mapping you got there 😲 honestly might not hurt for you to try my setup, it felt much more natural as soon as i started using boost on r1. U could try any of the air rolls on L1, i couldn't get the hang of regular roll on L1 so i put a directional there and kept roll/drift on square. Since you have roll on breaks/l2 might just leave that there, i did try that out and it wasnt bad but i found myself rolling too much lol

i can t speed flip because i can t boost as the same time as im jumping

This is something a lot of people struggle with, having boost as X and jump as A allows me to do it but it might not work for you (Xbox Controller)
