The problem with your argument is what you consider to be high interest might not be high interest to her. Meaning like, to you if she shows up & has a conversation with you, you consider her to be high interest. However, she just sees that as she's "getting to know you." I literally had this exact conversation with a male co-worker who said that happened to him. Dudes have a bad habit of confessing feelings to women with low interest that they like. Then giving them too much credit for breathing in their vicinity. In your mind, she had "high interest" because you wanted her to be. Not because she was.

I am not even from USA, but this shit is so true. When I was this way, she was crazy about me, then I fell in love with her, treated her better and within months she left with another guy (after many years of relationship). Then, the same thing happened to that guy, he treated her well and she left him. But I didn't understand what was happening until I felt very attracted to another girl, whom I treated well, and she was excited about me, but never took me seriously, then the news came out that she was with another boy, a guy who is indifferent and sometimes he tells her disgusting things, and she loves him... It made me want to vomit when I found out what he said to her... She gives that guy everything and she never gave me anything. I never blamed her for anything, but now it all makes sense... When I was a teenager, I was naturally like Casey says you have to be to have a satisfying "romantic" life, but I lost that... and now I'll be like that again, thanks to Casey.

Idk how I got to this part of KZread but I think the kind of woman you want to have as your life partner and wife who you cherish shouldn't want you as an emotionless robot. I think of myself as pretty masculine, im a volunteer firefighter trying to go for career, I've had numerous occasions where I needed to physically protect others from harm from attackers, so my girlfriend feels safe with me and can rely on me. 2 months ago, in a bus. I was just sat down, handling my business, then a girl sits next to me. I just kept like looking at the window and stuff, i wasn't even trying to play games or anything, i just acted indifferent and talked calm, altho the girl was cute. She starts a convo with me, then she asks me to take my bag so she could use it as a pillow, i was like aight. Then couple minutes passes, she just straight up gives me her phone and asks me for instagram, facebook and all 😂. following that, she purposely misses her second bus just to go stay next to me at my other bus stop and talk to me. Then the following days after she started messaging me non stop, i fucked it up by starting to get to clingy. Learn from the mistake of others boys, keep your frame and identity at all times, if you change it after seeing that a girl likes you that will be you're biggest fuck up, she likes your identity as she meet you, keep it as it is(if she's really into you she will do most of the work, like in Casey's story, the girl will hit on you non stop and escalate).

I noticed that when you start seeing a woman, you're on a countdown until that woman flips out for no apparent reason. When I look back, every woman did this. Besides, even if all of that wasn't true, getting married and having children nowadays is significantly harder than it was in our parents' or grandparents' time. The QOL has dropped in recent years, combined with a much higher cost of living. Having a family is an insane responsibility these days, one many of us know we can't handle. It's hard enough taking care of ourselves nowadays, let alone our spouses and offspring.
