I migrated to UK 14 years ago and I now realise that I made a mistake. I brought my skills and work ethic with me but in my work place, it is not appreciated fully and I am absolutely certain it is due to my faith and very recognisable muslim name. Its not only disappointments in the workplace why I have come to this conclusion but also the public discourse. I think muslims particularly highly skilled ones should make an effort to emigrate to the lands they came from and apply their knowledge and skills for the betterment of those societies. Its going to be slow and painful but it is the only way to bring back our glory days.

I moved back to Muslim lands after 9 years and three postgraduate degrees in top places in the West. Never been happier, more fulfilled. Loving the freedom to pray practically anywhere, can actually hear the beautiful adhans. And REAL social relationships, real social support, not just transactional friendships.

I’m originally from Germany and I see many of these trends there too. Not so explicitly anti-Islam, because they are apparently so “tolerant”, but implicitly it is there. Anyone who just follows the basic pillars of Islam will quickly be called an Islamist.

Increasing numbers of Muslims are a significant threat for loyal, bible - believing Christians in Western European countries. You know what will happen if Christians will/would be the minority in their countries... In what way is it not safe in Western Countries for non - Christians TODAY? Explain.... It's exactly the other way around - and you know it! Are Christians really safer in e.g. an Arab country? If Muslims have problems in Western countries, then it is because they are (usually) immigrants - and definitely not because of their religion.

Without WW2, there would be no country named "Israel"...think about it. At the beginning of Christianity, there was basically no form of "zionism" found in it. However, Christian Zionism is increasing since ca. 1830, mainly with the beginning of a Christian denomination called "Dispensationalism". At about the same time, also "political zionism" started to arouse with Theodor Herzl... Please do some google research on your own on the terms "political zionism", "Christian zionism", "dispensationalism" and its teachings - and you will see, how both, politics and (partly) the belief systems of both, the Western (Christian) world and Israel, actually have one and the same goal...however, also some political and religious leaders of the Arab world are also involved in the "story", just in a more subtle way... After you've done your research, it's up to you, what conclusions you'll draw from all this information... Also, please consider, that the official position of a government - everywhere in the world - does not necessarily represent the major position of its people - even then, if the government claims otherwise...

My point of view; 1) Israel holds a lot of economical (and thus political and media) sway in Western countries. No Western politician can criticize Israel, unless they are ready to accept career ending political suicide. This reason basically trumps and causes all other reasons. 2) Western countries benefit from no competitiveness from the Middle Eastern countries, as these countries are busy with each other or with their own internal struggles (coups, conflicts, sanctions etc.), some/many which are caused or supported by Israel through the intervention of the USA and other Western powers. Israel is basically the wild dog let loose to cause misery in the neighborhood. However, Israel benefits more, because many refugees want to go to those same Western countries (well deserved for those countries for ruining the homeland of those refugees), which causes friction in Western societies, which helps Israel push the "Islam vs Christianity/Judaism" narrative.

Western Countries are being destabilized by the mass immigration from the middle east which is largely caused by destabilizing the middle east. The only ones benefiting are the oligarchs who understand that nations limit their power. While supranational organizations like the EU and the WHO can consolidate power for them.

I don't think it's axiology because the Talmud and Christian values do not see eye to eye. And both Christian and Muslims have more in common than zionisim or Judaism especially when Christian and Islam forbid one for giving you 1 and then charging you 5 for the item. Things look like more of skin color being disguised as faith. I hate to play the race card but I see nothing else .

Thank you. I found this very interesting, especially how Islam is filling the void left by the demise of Christianity. The secular way of life has clearly led to a nihilistic nightmare for most and a thirst for the rediscovery of God, Family and Community; which is gaining momentum. A good thing indeed.

ashkenaz is not even related to ancient jewish tribe. they're european. various studies on palestinian dna proves that palestinian is genetically related to canaanites and of course they were jews before converted to christianity and Islam. askenaz is genetically central asian and european.

Untrue, Ashkenaz are a mix of ancient middle eastern, italian from the roman era, and medieval central European. They're about 50% ancient Jewish by DNA

I am from the netherlands and I enjoy joram on your show. I dont think we as muslims have a future here in Europe. The problem is where should we go? There are no so called islamic countries left anymore. I am originaly from morocco but even morocco is not an islamic state.
