So helpful video. Anger gives us a signal of injustice. But sometimes we need to limit it.

interesting talk: evolutionarily, fear helped us against danger, and anger helped us against injustice. but in most cases we should channel that anger or frustration into things like constructive criticism, productivity or activism, rather than violence.

@HakuCell: "we should that anger or frustration...". No, we shouldn't. You are ignoring the problem. An understanding of the problem is most important to deal with it. Channeling is kinda like: suddenly while you're driving a tire blows-out and you say "no problem" and speed up to get to your destination. It won't work!!! Compassion is the only way to defuse your anger.

Anyone that needs to be told that is the type that will never do that. Most people are losers. The ones who would do that are or already have done that. Fact. That is what separates the men from the boys. That is lifes cull .. some make it, some cry.

I have said this for years. The societal doctrine of suppressing anger is NOT HEALTHY. We, as a species, developed anger out of necessity. Modern technology and conveniences have removed a large portion of our need to be competitive... but the human genome dictates our requirement to exercise our anger. Fact: the majority of human accomplishment arises from one of two feelings... anger and arousal. When we deny either of those, we become less human, less primal, and alienate our needs.
