I'm afraid if you dicect this with a bit of critical thinking and common sense you find the majority of what he said was rubbish.facts would be great too.wishy washy a waffleling doesn't prove anything.Unfortunitly christians are not good at defending their faith,faith being the key word here.If you don't agree ,just read the transcript of this talk and see if it makes sense.a lot of circular reasoning in here.

This sermon has helped me so much to be able to explain my beliefs and why you can’t deny there is a God and creator I have been searching for the words to speak to my father about Christ. I pray that he sees Christ love he’s him and died for him.

This was perfect timing. I needed to hear it all. I’ve been asking & praying to God for some help with a few things he mentioned. I’ve stumbled because of false preachers on KZread, it almost made me give up. The confusion lol. Anyway, I’ve desperately prayed for stronger faith, I needed to apologize to God for even thinking otherwise. These sermons are a great help for me. God gets the glory for this teaching.

If He did not (or does not here), then why did the Jews pick up stones in order to kill Him? Thank you for this. I was saved in January, and now I'm going out to tell my family, and I started with my brother last night, and he's agnostic, so this is the sermon I needed to find. He told me to read the Kuron instead of engaging with me on what he believes. I feel like I should probably read the kuron, but I feel like that was mostly a ploy, so he didn't have to engage with me too much. But these things will probably help.

Jesus said they hated me and if you follow me they will hate you. What I’ve found is when you preach the truth of the Bible to confused Christian’s, they instantly call you judgmental, or want nothing to do with you at all. That’s how I know I’m doing my job. Your sermons make us want to grow in faith moving into a tent life is hard but God is good i wish i could find a good church out here in fort worth tx we need to be around people that our in there faith strong to help lead us down that narrow road we have to follow

We have the benefit of looking back at all such disputes / heresy and study both sides arguments. In this case there’s is no doubt that Jesus is YHWH. Have you not seen how James White handled iglesia ni cristo or James White and Michael Brown’s Trinity debate. Your arguments aline with a Muslim or Mormon apologists.

Hi Jeff, I recently found your channel and was blown away by your teachings and your love for God,Christ and your fellow man, I really got inspired by your abortion teachings which gave me alot of excellent tips on how to go out and be an activist against this genocide. Thank you. I would however like you to reconsider your stance on the teaching of Revelations, specifically the rapture and the tribulations, as I have been studying this book this year and is the only teaching I find that you could perhaps not have this one in the pocket. Carol, I am a member of Jeff's congregation, and we hold that you Eschatology drives your Theology. and if you study the differences between Pre-Mill, Historical Pre-Mill, Post MIll, and Post Mill, they are all shattered and differ by one verse. If you study the scripture that is used as a prooftexts for each and you look at the historical Context; if you put the bible in context and consider the ideas of covenants and then consider prophecy. Revelation has mostly been accomplished and while it may be a type for future events, there is no way that you get "Left Behind." Jeff has a series called, "Eschaton;" you should look it up on Apologia Studios.

One of the best sermons Jeff has done. Very edifying.

John 8 v58 before Abraham was born, I am. The beginning of Johns Gospel John 1v1 and the John 20v 28 both proclaim the deity of Christ “ Who being in very nature God did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage” Philippians 2v6 but he became flesh die as a substitute for my transgressions. “He was put to death in the body but raised to life in the Spirit” 1 Peter 3 v 18 His human body he took on died, God didn’t die as you claim. “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in 3 days. “ John 2v19 “ but the temple he had spoken of was his body” v 21. @@mitchellc4 pretty sure the blind man in John 6 was not the promised Messiah conceived by the virgin called Immanuel (God with us). If someone would like to accurately portray Jesus one would need to look at the entirety of scripture. The eternal Son of God took on flesh being born under the law, and as such Jesus who is the Son of God and by very nature God perfectley obeyed the law, thus Paul says the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Understanding the triune nature of God and the incarnation of the Son of God, exegetes this text without any conflict. When you die I’m sure you would affirm your Spirit would not die but only your body, so I would not think I’ve redefined death, Christ Jesus took on flesh, did not stop being God the Son, his body died but he was raised to life in the Spirit 1 Peter 3v18.

@@mitchellc4 Actually, Christ did on several occasional. The word phonetically from the Greek is "Ego-a-mi," I am (that I am). It was uttered when he was betrayed and men (over a thousand of them) fell down. Jesus also said that he and the Father was one. And it is also found in the very first verse and the 1st Chapter of John. And your point that God, the Father raised Christ, is also errant, it was the Holy Spirit, and the very same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, Lives in us. You are not literate in the Word to hold what you do. I would challenge you, Repent and Believe!

Though I love this ministry and have been blessed by it tremendously, we should be fair in pointing out that Dr. Craig has made clear multiple occasions that his primary way of knowing that Christianity is true is because of the immediate witness of the Holy Spirit, but when ministering to someone like Ben Shapiro the strategy goes from knowing to showing.

Also the Bible makes sense of our total depravity and saves us from sin and shows us our sin. That’s very important. Saves us.

2:07 This prayer, that God would protect you from error, will result in the children of your church putting their faith in what you say instead of God.

I’d love if you had a church in LA … I’ve been looking for one that’s Holy Spirit filled. I tried a church today but felt like a baby Christian and need a deeper church. People do see an accident and a mess of something falling on the ground and think it's beautiful. In the right mindset. Don't be narrow minded about what people consider beautiful, it depends on the context. Depends what that mess represents to the person at that particular moment.

@@nemesis3329 I'm not reading some cherry picked b*llshit...nothing and nobody will convince me there is a god..by the age of 14 (lm now 60) l became athiest whilst attending a convent, even at such a young age l knew this was mind controlling cr*p. I have had nothing to convince me otherwise. Religion, all religions are only there to benefit the gullible, the poorly educated, l live in the UK, luckily the younger generation are not buying it. Churches are being made into designer homes, pubs, nightclubs and curry houses..because no one is attending...l think it's fantastic. You religious bible belt, trump supporting knuckle draggers are the laughing stock of the civilised world.

@@kyleharris9456 - atheists are not asserting a position to defend. They have no claim to provide a burden of proof for. That is for those making a positive claim. If someone claims 'there is no god,' then they do have a burden of proof, but that is not the case with the great majority of atheists. The claim that 'something came from nothing' has nothing to do with atheism - just a strawman. The claim of Christianity is that 'God did it'. In order for that to be true, your first have to demonstrate the existence of that god. And even if you can get to the deist position of the need for an uncaused first cause, you still have all your work ahead of you to demonstrate the existence of the Christian God.

The reason of belief is siple,simple, to actually put the faith into practice is a whole different way of life! Faith without works is dead! Meaning that every word ,commands, teachings are adhered too.the biggest obstacles are being separated from the ways ofvthe world,and the works n wonders of satan the illusionist, carrying the cross daily, following Christ on the narrow path!! It is much a disciplinarian lifestyle, in obedience, holiness, righteousness, purity,etc witnessing, fasting and prayers, confessing, forgiveness, humiliry,but in the end to be in blessings, rewarding faith is beyond our vocabulary!! Endurance, strength, protection, guidance, inspiration, information, influence, initiative on n on the grace n mercy of our Lord n SAVIOR Jesus Christ = Yahusha.

Hello all, important message for salvation: In 1 corinthians 14:11, Paul said "If, then, I do not know the meaning of someone’s language, I am a foreigner to the speaker, and he is a foreigner to me." and it's the same thing for God, because The VERY IMPORTANT thing in Christ for us to produce good fruit according to the spirit of God is to first understand his language, because God has a specific language in his Word (the Bible). And if we don't know this God's language, we are foreigners to him. To have the thought of God, we have to let the scriptures translate the scriptures, we Don't have to think by ourselves, This is the only right way. I give you an example: The simple phrase "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son" In our human thoughts we understand "God loves everyone, the whole planet", however, God hates sin and bible says "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world" (1 john 2:15). But if we give the explanation letting the scriptures translate the scriptures it's clearer: In Matthew 13:38 Jesus said " The field is the world" In 1 corinthians 3:9 Paul told the disciples "you are God’s field" We understand here that world God so loved is his disciples, that he has chosen and known in advance in order to become vases of blessing (romans 8:29) That's why Paul said "the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world" (galatians 6:14), because all the disciples of Christ are crucified with Christ "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me" (galatians 2:20). Disciples=the world loved by God. And in this field, in this disciple world, you have the good disciples, the wheat. But the false disciples (false apostle, false pastor…) have been sowned by the enemy while the night. Only the wheat, the good disciples, disciples who respect the will of God have Holy Spirit, and Eternal Life. The others walk by their own thought, human thought, while believing worship the Lord. Now, if we keep in our mind that God loves everyone, the whole planet, and if we repeat this human thought to other people, we become liars and false witnesses to God because we don't tell the thought of God but our personal thought. See, it's very simple, letting the Word translate the Word to have God thought. God spoke this specific language by his prophets, it's the language of similitudes. "I have also spoken unto the prophets, and I have multiplied visions; and by the ministry of the prophets have I used similitudes" (hosea 12:10). And he used this langage by the disciples too. However, the whole Bible was written by the prophets and disciples and is written in similitudes. It is therefore to be translated. That's why Paul ask preachers to reveal mysteries of Christ (1 corinthians 4:1). To know God's language is to know God and to be known by him. "The revelation of your words brings light and gives understanding to the inexperienced." (psalm 119:130), and having understanding is having life: "Give me understanding, and I will live." (psalm 119:144). God bless you all!

???Self-Aggrandize much??? How do I know. because you are pontificating. Truth is there is NONE GOOD, there are none that seek, we can't Love and we can't approach God, BUT GOD... Your thoughts on Soterology is lacking, your cherry-picking use of Scripture badly mangles truth. Interestingly you end with 119. You need to repent and believe, then you should read all 176 verses in context. It is a wonderful panoply from a father to his son. admonishing him in his walk with God, in the purity of his walk. it is another thing I would encourage you to reread.

Repent and trust in Christ, the Holy Spirit will give you a new heart, the New Birth, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Read God's love letter, I.e. the Bible. A good start point is the Gospel (the good news) of John.

@@dc-wp8oc No, he would say that the KJV is a fine translation, but it isn't the best translation. We use ESV a lot, but Jeff preaches and uses a few others. When James preaches, he likes to preach from direct translation and transliterate, giving what various other versions will offer giving the strength and weaknesses of those offerings.

Does Jeff have a photographic memory ?

“We have all these documents,” but where?? I always hear this claim, but no one ever answers me. Museums? Vatican?

With the internet, they are more readily available than ever. if you want a place to jump on in there is a bunch of stuff that has recently been discovered, including more Dead Sea Scrolls and not as recent, but within the last 10 years the oldest complete copy of The Gospel of Mark. But to answer your question, there nare some well know collections including the Green Family, the family behind "Hobby Lobby."

The uncertainty and subjectivity that exists without the Bible is not evidence of its Truthfulness to the degree of divine revelation. But I do understand the desire to have a foundation of certainty for knowledge and morality.
