Why Tire Cradles BEAT Jack Stands

Tire Cradles, Tire Savers, Wheel Cribs, whatever you call them they are a extremely helpful to have in the garage! Cheap and easy to build. My set measure 14" long x 10" wide. *Adjust your cradle size accordingly if you have tall or wide tires.
There are multiple benefits to tire cradles including; vehicle stability, increased space UNDER the vehicle while raised, and they help save tires from flat spots during storage. Might also come in handy if there's flood coming...don't ask how I know.

I've thought about making large ramps so I can get the whole thing up in the air. I don't have a pad so I can put in a lift. It shouldn't be too hard to make something safe like that. Get all 4 wheels off the ground. 2 by 10's 2 by 12's. Just thinking.

I have a set like that I built to get low cars onto car haulers.

100% worth it! Even if it's just for storage, but I tend to use them more for keeping the car up higher to work underneath.
