Yes Taylor’s tour/movie united many, but she also brought awareness of importance to register to vote, she gave millions to food banks across the US, donated to several charities for children and illnesses, broke records in music that hadn’t been done in decades, boosted local economies in every city she went to. She deserves this recognition

@@EmmaDee I actually took my niece to see her when she was a teen. If I remember correctly, it was free. It was for a taping for one of the morning shows in Vegas when she was maybe 16 or so. She was so sweet - she made sure every child in the audience got one of her guitar picks and then she picked my niece up and sat her on the stage and hugged her while I took pictures. I never dreamed she'd go this far and I'm so glad that fame and money didn't go to her head. She still has that giant, giving, charitable heart. Kudos Taylor! You deserve every honor that comes your way.

When she was just starting out, she did an outside concert in LV for a morning show. I took my niece to it and Taylor made sure that the children up front got one of her guitar picks and then she took my niece on stage with her and hugged her while we took pictures. She was sweet and kind but I never dreamed she'd rise to this level. Still, she hasn't forgotten where she came from and uses her wealth to help those less fortunate. She is a beautiful human being and yet simply because she encouraged people to vote, the worst and biggest cult in the US are doing nothing but condemning her when they should be emulating her. Maybe they wouldn't be so hateful and miserable.

It's great that she's charitable, which is the best anyone can be, to have a beautiful heart, however, if she were physically ugly, how many people would recognize her inner beauty? So, she's no more special than any other good person, but people are seduced by her looks and energy, which draw way more people in, and i think life is weird in that way.
