yeah every time he says that shit it bugs me. First Gen was Pong Consoles and Odyssey Second Gen was Atari 2600 and 5200, Intellivision, ColecoVision, etc. Third Gen was NES, Master System, Atari 7800, etc. Fourth Gen was SNES, Genesis, etc. Fifth Gen was PS1 (I refuse to call it PSX), N64, Saturn, etc. Sixth Gen was Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube and Xbox Seventh Gen was PS3, 360 and Wii Eighth Gen was PS4, XBOne, Wii U, and Switch Ninth Gen is PS5 and Xbox S/X

Hell yeah, dude! I recently picked up NCAA '07 for the OG XBOX. I am having an absolute blast with it. Nostalgia alone is enough to make this anticipated series a hit... The gameplay is second to none!

@@jackthomasrochford6869 , my fictional team of Bass Reeves University (which not only has the largest stadium, but also the largest indoors/domed stadium ever, with a capacity of 500,000 people in seats), which is from Savannah, Tennessee, had become a new NCAA university in the year 2021, and had also immediately replaced Vanderbilt in the SEC, so the rest of the boys that were in the SEC thought, "Hmm, this school is a cupcake team and they will be an even better replacement for a punching bag than Vanderbilt (which would go on to the Great Lakes Conference, which is what used to be called the Big 10 Conference)"! However, on the opening week to their two hour trip to Martin, Tennessee, the Marshals would shock not just the Skyhawks, but also the SEC, and all levels of NCAA football, with what they had accomplished at Hardy M. Graham Stadium, on August 28, 2021 by putting one of the biggest routs in not just NCAA college football history, but also in ALL levels of American football history, by absolutely devastating the Skyhawks with a 238 to 0 win, and having 1,400 yards rushing, 1,400 yards passing, 35 sacks, 12 interceptions, 9 players that scored at least 2 touchdowns, 2 players that scored 6 touchdowns, along with 6 for 6 field goals, and 2 safeties, plus having 2 returns, including the very first drive of the game, go from end zone to end zone for touchdowns, not to mention that they made the Skyhawks fumble 12 times, with half of them would end up going immediately for touchdowns, and not a single drive that Bass Reeves University made was stopped by UT-Martin. Who is the cupcake team now, SEC and NCAA? I am sorry that your team lost so horribly, but the SEC insulted BRU for being a brand new team, so they had to prove them all wrong. However, false accusations of drug usage came, never mind that BRU has essentially the strictest anti-drug and anti-alcohol policy in all of the NCAA, if not the world, so BRU essentially counter sued the false claims and made a whole bunch of lawsuits against their accusers, thus winning its multi-quadrillionaire founder even more money. Now, however, the poor University of Minnesota-Twin Cities has to travel to Troy Polamalu Stadium/Troy Polamalu Field, a.k.a., The Thunderdome, for the first home game that will be celebrated by Bass Reeves University...it will most likely not be a good day for that Great Lakes Conference (formerly Big 10 Conference) member.

I play this game every day. IMO conference invites make this game. Love getting small schools into power 5 conferences. I'd suggest using a team like west Virginia, see if you get them in the ACC or SEC. Or an FCS school to get them into a powerhouse. I've got Furman and the citadel in sec and acc in one of my dynasties now.

@@justinwise6781 yeah. I use Tennessee Tech and I got a conference invite from the SEC with a trade with Vanderbilt. If I were you start in FBS Independent and play only 1 5 star team in ur inaugural season in FBS. Try to keep it down to 2 Loses and recruit on the EA top 150. You'll be making Nattys in no time

@@Emmdotfrisk , I actually went a less popular route and made a CAW team on NCAA Football 08 that was called Bass Reeves University and their name was the Marshals. Their home field was Troy Polamalu Stadium and it was the biggest stadium in the game (though, in the story, it was actually so large that the stadium had 480 rows of seats, with big shatterproof, and crack proof, screens that people in the rows that were further back could watch the game like they were all at the 50 yard line like people can watch the screens in a movie theater and it was done this way for groups of 30 rows that were behind the first 30 rows of the stadium, so for every 30 rows, there were a ring of these screens so that no one could feel like they were seeing ants and specks on the field that was below. The crowd of 500,000 people literally made the other official name of the stadium live up to its reputation, namely, the Thunder Dome. The dean literally built the stadium just to make a challenge to the North Korean government, as they currently have the largest sports stadium in the world, and the dimensions of the stadium even exceed the size of the biggest NASCAR circuit track in the world. Some people have even claimed that you could see the stadium from outer space.

got mine for $14.99 plus $5 shipping back in March on ebay. it was disc only, but came looking near perfect and has no issues when playing. You gotta shop around but you can still get it cheaper.

I bought when it came out. Also bought another one just to have a backup one. I stopped playing it because they didn't have madden 11 on ps2 unless I couldn't find it. I just stuck with NCAA football 10, 04, 05, 06, and 07.

I'd definitely tune in if you started up a series!

Yep you can definitely start a series I'm all in! Also could you do a video on how you deal with the jump the snap feature as well.. I have this game also but i always go back to ncaa 06 or 07 when I get tired ncaa 14.. Would greatly appreciate if you did a video on it because I always wanted ncaa 11 to be my go to version!

superlion2003 try block shedding in sliders for cpu and human to 0! I still get 2-3 sacks a game!

04-06 were great on the ps2 gameplay wise and I loved having the div 2 teams and being able to create a team unlike newer versions. I still have a ps2 for all the old ncaa football games. I know people love 14 but my favorite for the ps3/ xbox 360 was ncaa 12 I still play it regularly even with old school friends. But I go back to bill walsh football and have all the ncaa football games going back to 98.

Just started playing ncaa 07 again and it awesome, better than i can even remember as a kid

I have it emulated on PC. I’ve had it for a while. Forgot about the spike in value after the death of PS2.

I use to play ps2 alot with ncaa 09 & 11 and madden 08 and 09 were the years.

Start one with Appalachian State and run an option offense. You could go flexbone oldschool, or maybe use West Virginia's playbook and run triple option out of gun. Make the end goal to put them in either the ACC or SEC. App State has 4 uniform combos, which is always fun in dynasty so you aren't staring at the same thing forever. lol

I am old school, people disrespect the option. I would run homies with ohio st on ps2 back in like 04-08. There are nuances to the game you can pick up on too. I think the a.i was better maybe not graphics obviously but on the original xbox and ps2 dynasty was a classic!

I wish I had this game. NCAA 10 on the ps2 was the latest college football game I played. I think the reason its price is high is the same reason ncaa 14 was sold at a high price. They were two of the last college games that were released on their given consoles. I wanted to find this masterpiece at some video game stores but unfortunately I have yet to find one. I'd prefer going there in person to buy it rather than buying it online since its cheaper that way. I think partially the reason why it's not sold at a gaming or convenience store is due to it being pricey but ncaa 14 is still sold at some used game shop as an exception. I do have NCAA 11 on the ps3 however.

Do what you want man NCAA kicks ass on PS2. I'd just like to see the transaction of guys from NCAA into Madden. Maybe just do a highlight of the guys college career than his whole rookie year at least in Madden. I've been playing mine for years still love it

I can't remember how much I paid for my NCAA 11 I think it was either like $30 or $40 and I bought Madden 12 for like $22 in 2014 .. Still have them both too.

@@noahbland9940 no but you can import ncaa 11 to Nfl 11 and 12 with 12, it gives you an option you can import a draft class or continue your road to golry, i think idk i play ps3

I'll just get NCAA 06 and 08 on ps2 real cheap and best game ever. I have NCAA 13 on ps3 too but limited now. So much depth like you mention.

I have NCAA 09 somewhere, but I have NCAA 10 and 11 on PS2 as well, with 12, 13, and 14 on Xbox. Wish I had NCAA 06/07 just because everyone hyped about it and I want it now. Ah well, it’s still fantastic to play 09/10/11 and I’m thinking of doing a Road to Glory game!

Purdue's facemasks are blue in this game, fun fact. Idk why you'd pay $80, this series fell off after 06/07 when they went to last gen

08 had terrible pursuit angles, 09 is decent, 10 and 11 both have dynasty issues that ruin the game. 11 also has UCLA wearing Navy blue and copper. lol

Id be ALL OVER this if you did a dynasty mode! I think you should play every game its only 12 and pick a bad 1A team in a tough conference. Maybe someone awful in Big Ten or Pac 12 or SEC or ACC but i can't wait if you decide to do it. But, if you do, plz go all in. Don't worry about views. Use best practices and go head first

When i was a little kid i saw Football 14 for 20$ but i thought it was expensive now its like 100-200, but i got Ncaa football 11 for 3$, and 12 for 20, and 13 but lost the disk, i hate myself 😓

I want to get NCAA football 14 so bad but it’s $100 CAD! That’s 20 bucks more than a newly released AAA title!

Personally not a fan of this installment. It has a lot of flaws that prevent me from enjoying it as much as the older NCAA titles such as 06 and 07. Receivers will inexplicably drop the ball. Blocking is absolutely atrocious especially on Heisman which makes running the ball almost impossible. The "Jump the Snap" feature is also very overpowered which results in an unrealistic amount of sacks for both the player and CPU. There's a laundry list of other small things I could list off but I think I've made my point.

I got a used ncaa football 11 on Xbox 360 for $9

Because I've bought-up NCAA everything a few years-ago for a couple of bucks, nobody wanted sports games of any-kind... 🤣 My current computer is about 16.5 times faster than a PS2 and I run the game off a SSD and upscaled to 4k and everything maxed on PCSX2, great gameplay for a 15 year-old game, I have to say because the players are smaller you get to see a bit more of the actual game compared to modern versions and it doesn't cost a dime-more after you've bought-it... 🤔

First problem is that you are buying on Amazon and not on eBay.

@@Emmdotfrisk all I've been playing. I rented Madden 20 on Redbox to decide if I want to buy it and wasn't impressed so I saved the 60 from buying Madden and bought NCAA 14 fro the 360 since my PS4 disk was messed up.

Seriously, they were such a bad NCAA football team last season in real life that they made the old Hofstra and Northeastern teams seem competent in comparison. Akron was so bad that they did not win a single game last year.

The problem with 10 & 11 on ps2 is the recruiting is messed up. There are a ridiculous amount of 5 star QB's and WR's and barely any 5 star lineman. So you get into a dynasty 4 or 5 years deep and all the lineman suck and you have a ton of 99 ovr QB's and WR.
