I about to buy this game. The slide protection and true airraid concepts got me excited. I played this all the time as a youngon but I mostly didn't know what was going on lol

Just got it today for 2$ at GameStop ! I’m ready to start a dynasty tonight

I'm really glad you're doing 07 now, that's the ps2 NCAA football game I have and I love it.

I have played like 5000 hours of this game probably, played it since somewhat regularly since release. My current coach dynasty is in the year 2037, currently coaching at Ohio State. Won titles at Ohio U, K-State, and messed around a few years at Army but never won it all

Jump the Snap really made me think about my snap count every play

I can’t wait for this series. I definitely want see more NCAA 07 on the channel. I just bought a PS2 to go back and play a lot of the older football games. In my opinion the golden era of football gaming.. A couple things I didn’t really like about in 06-07 when I originally played it, maybe things have changed now! 😂😂😂

This and how over powered kick blocking and punt blocking is ruined the game for me. And the momentum feature. But I’m excited to see this game with fresh eyes

Yes the start button trick works. However, the return aren’t as open as they were in 06.

Love this video. Gonna run some of the plays you showed. 07 is a cool game!

The passing is more smoother in 07 opposed to 06. You can’t even complete a simple curl route without overthrowing the receiver or getting picked off.

The curl is too good in 07, automatic. It's way more unpredictable in 06, mostly on the bad side of things like you said but can be completed at times. It's another aspect where EA went the exact opposite the next game.

Thank you so much for this video!! I’ve always wondered what the big difference is between the two games and which one to really invest into. This is amazing and I appreciate the way you play/evaluate the game!

Thanks. If you haven't already noticed, I think 06 is way better. This video may not protray it but 07 has too many issues for me to play it. It's been so long since I did this video, I don't remember what I said in it. The momentum meter and jump the snap are killers for me, and too many turnovers officially done me in. It's up to you on which one you should spend time with.

@@AaronMagnusonsgotswag most of the ps2 Madden games are good. I just like the college game more. Don't feel forced to play the same year games. For example, if you're a Madden 07 fan, you don't have to like NCAA 07, you can just sim to get the draft classes you need. I guess the experience would be more fun if you liked games from the same year. It all depends on what you want from them.

Btw I would think faking the snap (circle; aka, having a snap count) helps to negate jump the snap..I think is all part of 07 attempting to deepen your on the field experience.

Yeah it’s always bothered me that people feel they have to mess with the sliders to enjoy the gameplay. These games are made well, usually no need

Playbook Gamer yeah, I’m pretty sure they added it. It’s one small but really helpful thing I missed when the transitioned yo next gen NCAA. You can use it if someone is injured long-term within the first 4 weeks.

I’m excited for this series

In 06 the Offensive is really over powered because 05 was a Defensive game it’s hard to tackle in 06 on Heisman

05 is defensive oriented, the rest are offensive. Most football games are this way.

06 07 04 05 are my go to games

06 and 07 were my favorite. The only thing I wish they had was in dynasty mode preseason spring drills to make your players attributes better

Question for you @PlaybookGamer how do you get your names rosters for the PS2 did you buy an action replay, or do you have another method?

The only thing I didn't like about the 06/07 was the playmaker cheese. At first I liked it, but it got old and unrealistic. 90 ovr RB gets about 10% of the break tackles an 90 ovr playmaker rb. a 70 ovr wr playmaker will make Jerry Rice type plays when my 90 ovr wr will be missing routs, dropping passes wide open, etc. But the gameplay is so much better in 06/07 than the previous.

My guy u should do more content on 07 it would help me more with pass protection

I wish I liked 07 more enough to play it but 06 has better gameplay so I tend to stick with it. You having trouble with sacks or something else?

How do you QB slide in this game??? I never figured that out... I would always run out of bounds or press triangle before I got hit back in the days ... I still have this game for ps2 ...NCAA 07 was my shhh

@@PlaybookGamer User catch while pressing L2 to attack the deep coverage zones. But yeah, I like the running engine on 2004 the best. Don’t like how they changed it after that game. I will say it’s still better than the modern day engine.

How many schools can you create. I like to re create my high school league in Madden. Would like to do the same here for a more authentic feel

Yeah

I kinda like race for the heisman better than in this game jus cause how raw it was it was simpler but 07 dynasty is slightly better due to spring game and practice mode but I still love NCAA 06 way more but I might start a dynasty in 07 if you do it kinda get the feel for the game

it is. you can transfer your player over to hall of fame mode in madden 07. those were the days

Clemsons road purple alternate in 06 is totally glitched. I like and dislike both 06 and 07 for various reasons.

06 has less things that bug me compared to the rest, that and the gameplay just feels better to me, more challenging which is why I play it more than the rest. 07 has a few good things it does better though.
