The 918 spyder's design I feel has remained timeless compared to the other two, both interior and exterior. I have always been a P1 fan but everytime I see the 918 now, I still can't believe this car is nearly a decade old now.

The 918 was easily the most modern of the Holy Trinity. It was always.....always going to have the better shelf life. The engine is a diamond.....and the rest is still cutting edge.

Porsche 918 Spyder. I remember all the comparison tests, where the Porsche always won the standing start races. With the McLaren and Ferrari both needing 10+ seconds to catch and pass the Porsche. In the real world none of these cars would be at full acceleration for over 10 seconds on the street. So, for me 4wd, and fastest real world car - Porsche is best car.

The timeless design of that 918 Spyder still holds up its true beauty. No say about the performance as well. What a car!

When 918 Spyder released, car and driver did a review and they managed to get 0-62mph in 2.2 seconds, I remember seeing Holly trinity for the first time, instantly fell in love with 918, after almost a decade still my favourite car besides McLaren F1 and Ford GT40

Hats off to the film crew. I've seen a lot of videos for the 918 but no one has captured it so beautifully. Perhaps its the lighting and the body color, but my god the lines are just so well balanced. There's a real presence to it, but not shouty like most hyper cars.

Still love it. I hope Porsche offer a refresh program for the 918 in the future. An updated, lightweight battery from Rimac could drop 100kg, and some little tweaks like a Taycan-style digital instrument swapout would be awesome. This car at 1575kg and some 2022 PS2Rs would go sub-6:40 on the Ring.

Those side vents behind the doors are not only cooler intakes, but also the actual engine intakes. They designed a bonkers engine filter to fit back in there. I was fortunate enough to see the test mule (918 #0) that they used to test everything, as well as drive test 918 #3 (Carrie, if memory serves) on a racetrack. This is such a monster, amazing, unreal car.

I remember when I was in high school back in 2013 and I was at the Detroit Auto Show for a field trip with the technical school I was going to part of the day, and the 918 was there at the Porsche exhibit. I was in awe, it was love at first sight. Saw one driving by a while back and it was just as beautiful as the first day I saw it. Porsche made a masterpiece.

This was one of my favourite dream cars of all time, when I was in grd8 back-in 2015. Still love it! I remembered buying a RC model of this on that Yr. Now I want the Autoart 1/18 of thus 🥰🔥

I remember seeing two of these together at one car show seven years ago. They are stunning in person, low, sleek and sexy. The owners seemed very pleased to be sitting next to them. Can't blame them, they must have been reeking with money considering the purchase price of their rigs (which I'm sure has never gone down in value). What a fantastic time it was (and is) to live in a world where the P1, the LaFerrari and 918 could all exist at one time. Great review and incredible car. When you're done with it, ship it to me and just tell the owner you lost it. I'll pay for the shipping.

When he launched it the first time I was looking at the speedometer thinking why on earth is that number increasing so slow. Fell for it.

One of my fav automobiles of all time. A hyper-car truly designed before it's time.

I think it’s amongst the most beautiful and timelessly designed supercar ever (hypercar really!). Despite it being 10 years old, you wouldn’t be able to tell it’s age. Only have seen one in Leeds, and that was at Porsche’s showroom, and once you see it in flesh, you forget about all them ferraris and lambos that such Brits are soo used to seeing almost on daily basis

its amazing hold "old" the laferrari and p1 and 918 are, and yet, we are still revere them as the best. pretty amazing machines

Well, they are not old. It's not the passing of time that makes a car old, it's the advancement of technology. And what they have has not become old.

I see one of these a few weeks back on the A45. Bloke was thrashing it and it sounded unreal. I couldn't believe I see it being driven how ot should be. What a car.

The sounds of engine and gear changes are perfect and amazing. This car is an art and I wish I had a small chance for driving and tasting it. Thanks for reviewing ❤❤💙💙

This car is a legend! The only way I can come closer to this is driving it in FH5 and Real Racing 3. The drive dynamics is sublime! I only wish I can see it in person some day.

I remembering seeing this car on topgear when Hammond was reviewing it when I was a kid, it was so cool.

i saw them all 3 at different times in London, but this just stood out against the other 3 in such a good way. The only one i would want from the 3.

9:50 - If you're in front of everyone, that's when you DO need to see behind you. If you're behind everyone, then you don't need to see behind you. Logic, Mat, logic.

A one of one engine! That's why it's the best of the three to me. 9k revving NA Porsche V8! The road tax in the UK must be around £60 a year!

2022 cars looked pale in comparison to 2010s.

Ten years and it still looks the part. Porsche and their classic, timeless designs. Gotta love it!

At the 3:56 mark its crazy that you can hear the electric motors over the v8 for the initial part of the acceleration.

The 918 was always my favourite of the holy trinity. It always looked the best and it also was the most versatile car of the 3. Yeah sure when you're pushing the cars to their absolute limit then maybe the La Ferrari or the P1 is slightly better, but under 99% of normal driving conditions the 918 is far superior, and can still keep up with the La Ferrari and P1 even in that 1% case when you're pushing it to the limit.

I have one now for ca. 6 years with ca. 85k mi on the clock - may be thee one with the highest milage. I change the oil every 10k and the gearbox oil every 30k mi. The car drives like at the first day, but i use them not in the winter season as the car has no battery heating and frost could kill the batteries.

U should do a review on a Devek Sixteen it's insane
