Yeah, my first song I heard from them was fearnot, so obviously I didn’t understand what that meant for the fandom (plus I don’t know Korean), I just loved the lines “in truth, she’s not all fearless, but you help her fear less”. Then I got one of those videos of the members explaining the group to a bunch of kids. When I found out what fearnot and le sserafim meant, I loved them even more. I thought their name was just because of seraphim angels

the styling changes also embody this: in fearless, they were dressed like models, sleek and perfect, sure they could have everything. while they took some of that model confidence into antifragile, it was a bit more messy, real. even the change in album cover and logo shows that. the fearless album cover is neat and predictable, while antifragile is inspired by the kintsugi technique, where gold is used to fix cracked pottery. they are showing that their weaknesses are what make them stronger.

WHAT I like about le sserafim is the group actually being fearless A concept can be good it can be almost perfect but when the members dont have it to themselves the concept will go and just crumble When garam got removed to the group they dont have any certainty what will happen to the group Then they released antifragile The girls slayed and Released antifragile and Also slayed Even though they lost someone They lost garam but they never lost themselves they never got down or basically got fragile And it goes to unforgiven too They prooved themselves again and again and it makes their concept really great.

Even tho garam leaving the group is sad,but it kinda fits in lesserafims storyline.Maybe the whole garam leaving convinced me that its part of the plot because it fits so well in lesserafims story with fearless they portray that they arent fear of the obstacles that they will encounter and antifragile they become bolder and coming back stronger than before with antifragile and they are not fragile and are not going to care about haters because they are basically antifragile which means not easy to hurt then unforgiven with that they are bold declaration of independence and rebellion against societal expectations and them coming back even stronger even tho critics and haters are trying to take them down and they themselves thought they are not worthy enough because they couldnt control the past of how one of the member had to left they became forgiven to themselves and moved on to greater heights. Its sad that their concept and story they are potraying is just underrated because its just so perfect no matter how you want to criticize it

personally I don’t think what happened to garam fits the storyline although I do see your point and where you get that idea from I feel as though Garams departure contradicted anti fragile a bit..and also fearless. Although it was out of the group & company’s control as the songs where already produced. It just doesn’t go properly in my eyes. Fearless but not fearless enough from hate and rumours because you had to kick out a member ( completely understand why though it was affecting the groups reputation). And anti fragile but clearly fragile to the controversy

Huge fearnot here, so I don't wanna compare, but you should definitely check out the Dystopia Trilogy by Dreamcatcher if you haven't. It's basically about cyber bullying and hatred, what it does to poeple, and what we can try and do to avoid it. Dreamcatcher and Le Sserafim are my 2 ult groups at the moment, their discography are so cool and creative. And they're amazing performancers too (Le Sserafim arguably the best performers in GGs at the moment), no doubt about it what so ever.

This video made me miss Garam more, and made me think of the possibility what if they actually was fearless and choose the “don’t conform” option. It leads me to think abt the possibilities of what they could be as 6 now. I’m still on the edge of whether to fully support them as an ult or not but this video was very enlightening and I appreciate the craftsmanship behind it. Though I have tried to move on from what happened in fearless, but its hard because ppl justified their actions by saying oh she did this so she deserves it, when they were being hypocrites doing the same thing. This is why I encourage everyone to be patient when something like this ever happens again.

Honestly what happened to garam was and still is extremely unfair. Guilty or not (I didn’t keep up with the whole story) she didn’t deserve to be harassed to no end. But as said in the video, and as harsh as it might sound, we need to move on. No matter how much she misses her group, the group misses her as well as the fans miss her, we need to move on. Bc we all know that the individuals who caused this will never change, hidden behind their screens. This community will never change no matter how much happens, how much damage is done, it won’t change. So we need to move on like she did, like the group did and wish them the best. That’s not forgive and forget, that’s looking at the future and caring for them

I couldn't agree more with how they break down the albums. Like the one who commented previously, FEARLESS is all about those crazy expectations, ANTIFRAGILE hits you with realizations, and UNFORGIVEN brings that sweet acceptance. It's like a wild ride through emotions, man. I also appreciate how their styling evolves throughout the trilogy. In FEARLESS, they were all about that sleek and perfect model look, while in ANTIFRAGILE, they embraced a more authentic and real vibe, and in UNFORGIVEN, they're even going wild. The album covers and logo changes mirror this transformation beautifully. Huge shoutout to the creator of this video for putting it all together so well! Your understanding of LE SSERAFIM's narrative and attention to detail truly shines. Keep up the fantastic work!

This was such a great video. Your presentation style is what I just needed, and your analysis of the narratives in their songs absolutely got me to appreciate LE SSERAFIM in a way I never used to. Though to add a counter-point of mine, I think by IMPURITIES, they don't actually stop dreaming about extremely large things. Whenever they admit that they have 'impurities', I instead assumed that they admitted that they made mistakes (E.g. being foolish by deliberately ignoring the reality of uncertainty, without fearing it or acknowledging it) and that they were instead continuing to desire great things, because that's just who they are. "Show you the real me, the dark red light - Intensely shining, glittery things" in my opinion is an expression of the desire that they continue to have, but which was never tainted by the mistakes they made, though they do admit that they've had impurities in the form of those mistakes. Now that their approach has changed (to fear, but not afraid), they can acknowledge what's inside them all along, which is that desire to reach those countless and expansive destinations ("펼쳐진 destinations"). Their desire is thickening, but their flawed approach in the past which has led to mistakes hasn't made them compromise. I feel if they instead meant that their desires ended up becoming more grounded that they would also show that in the lyrics, but I think most if it reflects a more idealistic sentiment - though with a grounded understanding of the reality of uncertainty. They made mistakes, but they have what they need inside them in order to reach the very top. They keep on moving like nothing happened, because their approach is now correct, and their trajectory can now be set without being afraid of what blunders are to come. I think this small change in a small narrative detail makes sense, even among the rest of the songs (GOOD PARTS + the rest) that you've displayed and explained. I just thought that IMPURITIES itself showed less of a confession that they should compromise, but that instead that they've made mistakes (that they've gained impurities) but that their desire won't be broken. While the rest of the songs continue to expound on how much those mistakes affected them, I think ultimately this conclusion of finally coming to accept the reality of uncertainty and moving on is given a chance to continue to be given credence because now their next comeback can demonstrate that they acknowledge the uncertainty of reality, have moved on from their mistakes, and now they can make their next moves. Their real moves which will take them to where they want, even among what's happened thus far. Anyways, I wanted to say that this is an awesome video and that your presentation style is god-tier. No doubt. Each part is well laid-out, each narrative transitions from one part to another so smoothly, and everything just mixes together really well to make for a good video essay that's easy to follow and easy to take something away from. I hope you continue to make videos because honestly, we need more videos going in-depth into the very substance within K-pop which not many people have acknowledged (other video essay content creators that do this that come to mind are 'mera', etc.).

This correlates so well with someone that has OCD like the ability to be ok with uncertainty is the entire point of what people is trying to understand, to focus of what they can control and what they can't aka their thoughts and that the uncertainty that your thoughts are true or not/will not or will happen is the goal in treating OCD. I just think that cool as someone that has OCD plus a big le sserafim stan :]

sour grapes is the best song in the trilogy, the way it goes against all the idealization of being a fearless person built in the other songs on the 1st album is brilliant and from it le sserafim comes up with antifragile, someone who fails but remains strong

Le sserafim is such an unique group bro they got 2 former izone members 1 professional ballet dancer 1 opera singer and a 15 year old who can keep up with them. Le ssersfim has one of the best trilogy and Le sserafim name means 'the six winged heavenly creatures' reffering to the 6 members but Garam left and also if you rearrange the letters it spells 'im fearless' i just think its really cool

great video i love it so much the thing about le sserafim is how eye opennig their story can be to many people but as a fan of kpop it is easy to realise that their concepts are one of the best in kpop, le sserafim isn't providing a story the story has already been told through their real life journey of the members, whether its through their debut (fearless) in which they feel they have to shape their own world and be on the top or with their second comeback (antifragile) fighting back the cirtisms and backlash they recieved and becoming stronger than they were before and as of (unforgiven) they prove that they can be fearless and be stronger and also be able to move on to the next chapter of their lives. The trillogy showcases all of the aspects on how you can appreciate the members lives and how to appreciate ourselves through adversity

Believe it or not, Lesserafim were there for me through my worst depressive episodes, where I hate lookin at the mirror, hate being myself and sabotaging myself everyday. They made me to hold on a little bit more into life. Thank you for this analysis, it helps me to relive the wonderful experience I had with Fimmies.
