Motivation from other people pushes Barry every time he receives it. Don’t you notice how he always blames himself? Flash has never made sense. I mean... one of his major foes in the comics is Captain Cold who is just an ordinary dude with a freeze ray. There's no way he can be that ridiculously fast and somehow also be challenged at all by anyone without superspeed.

Something that annoys me about the episodes where Barry temporarily loses his powers is that in other actual well written superhero shows the power loss is used to show how they'll solve a problem without their powers and explore whether they're a hero with or without their powers or nothing without them. But whenever Barry loses his powers he doesn't try to sort things out without them. Just goes "Must get powers back" showing he'd be useless without them. Well written shows have it so that the hero can do good powerless or powered whereas badly written ones like Flash have their heroes angst about how they're nothing without powers.

My one friend was complaining to me because Barry, in the Flash, has been acting un-Barrylike as of late. He's been willing to do borderline questionable things and shown a slight bend in his ethics. Then in the most recent episode he put someone in a box(basically) with no discussion or thought. So I countered by saying "What if he's Thawne in disguise?" *mic drop*

Barry realizes that going back in time can destroy everything. Barry is also perfectly fine with his daughter from the future just living in the past talking about the future and change things.

My family watched this show and I only kinda paid attention during the 1st and 2nd seasons. They were alright but the one thing that really bugged me was Iris and Barry being raised together and called siblings multiple times. I haven’t read or watched anything else about Flash so I might just be uninformed but it weirded me out.

There’s a great video called “The Flash Is Insufferably Inconsistent” that shows that the Flash has been pretty garbage since the beginning, particularly in regards to the action scenes.

The only consistent thing about the show is that each episode he gets faster oh wait…

the reason i stopped watching it is because i liked season 1 and 2 for mainly being focused on Barry but in the later seasons it basically says yea the flash is there but look at Iris go and lets forget what the show is named after the flash not pepper spray Iris

It really feels like they did that to iris just cuz she's a dark skinned wahman.that sort of motivation shouldn't have anything to do with the story.if iris was relevant as a character,then she would be so important as the story demanded it no matter what her gender or skin colour was.That's how people should remove the stigma of not giving equal or main attention to females and people of colour.

Senter Exactly From someone who has read a lot of comic books, this show adapts the flash comic books in an excellent way We can’t expect great writing from superhero movies or shows, what is great about these shows is the action and events that happen, and if people focus more on writing, then simply the flash isn’t for them

Season one and two were awesome. Then we realized how they use the same exact way to solve problems and same plots it’s annoying The Flash: is sad because he’s not fast Iris: can I have a moment? Iris: we are the Flash Barry: I can do this. It’s just a repeating cycle of the same thing. I don’t blame the actors. I blame the writers,

Cisco is the only character I actually enjoy in this series. He's dialogue seems the most natural, and bc he's pretty much a goofball most of the time his jokes don't seem so out of place. The rest are trash though

Facts, i thought the Flash was the perfect superhero show until I watched Daredevil. The first few episodes made me realize how trash the Flash actually was lol

Another problem: The overuse of the line “think of what (insert loved one) would want” against villains...

Every episode of the flash: Someone gets pissed for some reason and walks out of the lab into the hallway Someone goes: “I got it” and follows then into the hallway and gives inspiring speech. Barry beats whatever villain of the episode and everyone’s fine

I believe The Flash will go to exactly 10 seasons... when Barry travels back in time to that night along with the reverse flash to fight each other, and Reverse flash kills Barry’s mother...or a plot twist.

Best actor in the whole Arrowverse, even with the poor writing he does a great job.

Season 1 is EASILY my favorite season of The Flash.

I actually love this show mainly for 3 reasons. 1. Sci Fi. This show keeps getting more complex each season and every villan makes so much sense. Everytime I watched it, Everything just fit perfectly. 2. Comedy. The flash was really good at putting comedy in the right places 3. I love certain characters, manly Kaitlin, cisco and Wells.

Intersting how so many kids just disliked this. Almost impossible to actually like this show at this point.
