at least develop the guys and get them used to playing in a system. that didnt happen this year and it looks like most of the players have regressed. lavine is playing good but hes still a rough diamond hoiberg doesnt know how to polish. the bulls are filled with promising young talent but as far as a team goes theyre way too disorganized. the offense is way too stagnant and the defense as the stats show is among the worst in the league, especially after jimmy and lavine exchanged places. hin getting fired could very well be a favor, id doubt hed be the one to coach the team to a title when he gets the talent when he cant even coach his young stars now. he had a chance with rose gasol and butler and he failed then and even now with young guys who shouldnt have as large egos he remains not that promising a coach.

Disagree. There were plenty of signs of poor coaching, regardless of personnel and injuries. None was more egregious than the Nov 16th loss to the Bucks. Up 20 at halftime on one of the best teams in the East and with so much of the roster injured, then get outscored and blown out in the third quarter 17-46. I watched that game and when the momentum started to swing towards the Bucks, Hoiberg refused to call timeout to refocus. Instead, he just let them just play on, leading to rushed shots, bad shot selection, and turnovers galore. A half-decent coach would have had the brains to see it was going downhill and regroup. Hoiberg is not a good coach.

Also, I wonder if there is room on Brett Brown's staff for Hoiberg. This video made me think he might thrive with Embiid and Brett. Brett is #1 in timeout plays but could use a little help teaching the offensive sets. Philly has Embiid and Redick comboing well and Jimmy and Simmons are starting to combo. We need to start gelling the other players and def Embiid-Butler combos.

How do you do this? Do you write down your script for every video? or does it just come naturally to you?

@@bballbreakdown Working hard like Robin Hood, you must have risked lots of time writing down your script, well worth it when the reward is this great... You improve your skills, and each videos, it becomes more and more practice... Young players can learn a lot from this as practice and great advice from a skilled coach like you will transform their talents into genius level skills...

This is way more on GarPax than Hoiberg, IMO. Those rosters had some pretty massive personnel issues and the front office couldn't decide if they wanted to win now or develop young talent. Tough situation for a young coach.

I think a lot of the analysis on Parker is a bit unfair, while yes I think he needs to make some adjustments to his game, the same can be said for basically the entire rest of the Bulls team as well. I'm sure he's not the only one getting beat down the floor occasionally as well, yet coach only showed clips of it happening to him. Jabari's also expending a lot of energy on offense since he's the Bulls second best offensive player right now which can take it out of you a bit on defense. I think the Bulls will be a lot better off now that they have Markkanen back to space the floor better and (hopefully) a coach that will get them into some better offensive sets.

Great video - my only complaint is that at the end of the video you neglected to mention Zach Lavine. A 23 year old averaging 25 5 and 5 on 44% shooting a year after a torn acl is hard to come by in this league. He definitely has a lot to work on, but under the tutelage of a proper coach maybe we can see a future perennial all-star. He needs to work on his handle, decision making/shot selection, and defense. But, I have been surprised at his playmaking ability for sure. Maybe I'm just an over-optimistic bulls fan though.

Fred wasn't ready to headcoach an nba team, But the front office is to blame for alot of this.. just look this is there 6th coach already. They set fred up for alot of failures saying there gonna get "younger and more athletic" then sign wade and rondo signed parker and wanted him at the 3 and fred said no from the get go and tried to get some balls and demoted him to the bench.. theres alot of bs fred had to go thru; the jimmy butler saga, i mean look it was just fred and jimmy clashing him and thibs and alot of the timberwolves clashed as well he just hollywood af.. fred didnt help him self and didnt make any adjustments or couldnt call up any good plays out of a time out.. all in all im sure hes actually relieved to be out of that head ache and still be getting paid all while probably getting a second salary going back to college.

I never thought much of Hoiberg as a head coach in the NBA. People weren't knocking on the doors that much, except the Bulls. The Butler and Wade rift with the rest of the team in 2016 really showed how little respect players had for him. I felt like the players quit on him afterwards. Even though they made the playoffs that year, I feel like Rondo was the one who kept that team together (and off the record, I was a huge Rondo hater before then). And after the trades, he never had the proper personnel for a pace and space offense, save for Lauri. It also doesn't help, that he can't coach a defense. That said, just about everybody in Chicago wants Paxson and Forman gone. Hopefully that happens soon.

Dunn / LaVine / Markannen / Wendell are keepers and future starters, we just need Zion and that's a SCARY lineup, he will fit perfectly. Then We gotta keep Arcidiacono / Portis. Portis very important as a 6th man. Arcidiacono VERY solid as a backup pg, like our very own Fred Vanvleet or Kirk Hinrich.
