    It's disgusting what they did to coach Fred Hoiberg... You hire a coach known for his offensive schemes/mind. Then you surround him with Old Rondo, Old Wade, & Jimmy Butler..worst shooting trio ever.. Then eventually fire him as if he was in the wrong.

    😂🤦🏻‍♂️ Lauri completely digressed after a good rookie year. Yes the management and team was in shambles but that’s isn’t a excuse to not grow your game and get better especially with the opportunity on a team that has nothing to lose. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

    If yall want to get technical, Lauri was in a Bulls uniform for 4 seasons, but actually played less than 3 full season. He averaged 50 games per season his last 3 years in Chicago. Only Anthony Davis can get away with that.

  • @odonnellcaleb

    @odonnellcaleb

    Because he wasn't effective. I always thought Lauri had potential like he's showing now. Literally would say "the second we trade Lauri he's going to go on to be an all star". The other players weren't the problem...it was how the coaches used him. They basically used him as a stretch 4, stick him at the 3 point line for spacing reasons, never let him drive to the hoop or catch the ball on the elbows. By not utilizing his other skills he started to regress as a shooter too. So when the team is forcing you to be just a shooter, and you're missing a lot of shots, you're not going to get the ball. Lauri was even telling everyone he wasn't being used correctly. He'd say it in the press, he would bring it up every off season, but instead of giving him a chance to prove he's right everyone just rolled their eyes. All while calling him soft...even though he was desperately trying to open up his game that would show he wasn't. He needed the opportunity he has now, to be the number one option. He wasn't going to get that opportunity in Chicago or Cleveland, so it's good he is getting it now. Now in the future if he ends up being a 2nd or 3rd option again he has tape he can point to that will prove he's much better utilized when he's not just a stretch 4.

    Take the starters out and you are left with a full roster of NBA players. The starters would have put in the majority of minutes during the first game, right? So EVERYONE ELSE would be ready to go and could play with much higher minutes. To get blown out by 56 means they should all lose their jobs. Those are all NBA players you are talking about. It is not like those players had just put in 40 minutes the day before and were now asked to put in another 40 and got blown out. Why are you making excuses for millionaires that showed they do not deserve to be in the end. If I was the team owner I am trading virtually everyone involved with that blowout loss. That is unacceptable. PERIOD.

    Boylen is a completely baffling story of failing upwards. He was a disaster of a coach at the University of Utah--he ran that program straight into the ground, to such an extent that it still hasn't totally recovered. Then, after the U fired him, he somehow conned his way into assistant jobs with the Pacers, Spurs, and Bulls and got Hoiberg's job when he was fired. Boylen had zero business being an assistant in the NBA, let alone a HC. What he ever did to convince anyone he deserved those jobs is beyond me.

    The Bulls always get rid of players they should of kept hope the new front office knows the history of that and will do something different

    I'm still at a loss as to why JJ is half the screen? I get that he's the vibrant personality, but it's an interview about the player. Shouldn't they be the focus? Just seems weird.

    So let me get this straight… they gathered outside in the parking lot, and then AFTER practice had already started, someone learned that practicing after a back to back wasn’t against union bylaws?!🤷‍♂️🤣 Seems like the kinda thing someone should have simply made a phone call on, BEFORE HAND 🤦‍♂️ Sounds to me more like they knew they weren’t going to practice in the first place(because they were tired of the coaches antics), and the Union angle was just an excuse, that bottomed out on em and left them hangin out in the cold 🥶 Well at least they had each other 😂

    This was a great interview. I hope people realize how much of a tyrant Jim Boylen is. He most likely will NEVER coach in the NBA ever again.

    I don’t even know if he is an assistant anymore, usually you can find ex-head coaches throughout the league on someone’s staff but I haven’t heard anything. One of the worst coaches I have seen in my short life.

    @@MrEverythingg he was with the bulls 4 seasons. 68, 52, 50, and 51 games. Meaning he missed a full season in 4 seasons with the Bulls. Playing 50 games is terrible. That's a little above half the season. You don't want that from your players.

    I don't agree with Markkanen. He had a lot of opportunities with the Bulls and he should be thankful because they drafted him, he shouldn't talk like this. He shows a lot of limits in his Bull's years, both mental and technical.

    "In his first week, Jim implemented 2 1/2-hour practices, 1 1/2-hour shootaround, had the #Balls run suicides" Am I supposed to think this is a lot?... I literally hit the gym one hour a day for two month when I first started working out, and it is not even that hard... Those training schedule from Jim doesn't feel that harsh for a professional athletes.
