    Hikaru literally outsmarted Stockfish at a low depth for a few moves against Pinhas26! Stockfish evaluated his knight sac a mistake! Then a few seconds later, an inaccuracy and then soon it gotten the brilliant symbol as it realizes Hikaru's plan of passed pawn a few moves later and if not, the bishop on f6 is VERY strong even though opponent is up a full piece! AND Rook h4 is a an epic move going for checkmate (top engine move) rather than sacrificing a second knight which is the second choice of the engine

    People need to understand that one move blunders are not one Move at all. There is a lot that leads up to it. Pressure all over the board. Superior pieces and a lot of board control just to name some examples. I can make any 1500 blunder pieces on command after a few moves just because when you pressure and control everywhere it's hard to find squares that don't allow tactics where your pieces can't be taken. The 1600 don't play bad against Hikaru. It just looks like they do because he makes them Blunder.

    Good perception. The fork looks good, but White has a defensive resource which is after Nc2 they play Qe2 attacking the black queen which, at the moment, is undefended. Causing Black to force the queen exchange and White captures with the rook that was threatened by the black knight. If Black doesn't change the queen at that moment, the knight on c2 has fallen. So what was supposed to be tactical black became tactical white. Incredible, right?

  • @Disentropic1

    @Disentropic1

    10 ай бұрын

    After f5, look at black's weak light squares. White's bishop on c4 is dominant along the diagonal facing black's king and black's light square bishop is crippled. As NTL said, a future Qh5 is one way to emphasize the weak light squares near the black king and there's nothing black can do to fix it. If white attacks correctly from here he should win. If your question was about Nf2, black plays Qh5 threatening Qh7 mate and if h6 then simply Nxf7 and black has to play Rxf7, down already an exchange and a pawn with a raging attack continuing. Black has no chance in the resulting position. I'm rated ~2150 otb btw

    It’s sad how many just resign instead of letting the checkmate happen. I’m but a mere 800 elo who couldn’t name a single opening but when I’m losing I let it happen so I can see how they get the final mate to learn ways I can do the same in future games.
