The sad part is - A lot of politicians are lawyers. One would think this should make better written laws but it does not, and America is a prime example of that. Instead of containing well defined terminology, the vast majority of the Laws written in America contain 'flowery text' and words that hold little to no common meaning. My prime example of this is 'reasonable,' a word that never should be found in a law book because 'reasonable' is entirely subjective. Almost as if the entire point is to create that ambiguity in which Lawyers argue and debate!

it always takes two to tango: this Dickson fellow needed the elected Texan lawmakers to back up his nutty design. it should be unconstitutional to give a private citizen the right to sue another citizen or a corporation for something where the claimant/plaintiff has no beef in. neither his property nor his rights or anything that pertains to the plaintiff is at stake here. this is ludicrous.

I love how he chose Batman, because IN-UNIVERSE he was treated as just as dangerous as the villains he was fighting and it took him years to get the general public on his side. Also he's fake and real-life vigilantes normally end up less as Batman, and more of a racist caricature of Punisher.

If there was an IRL Batman he'd be arrested in seconds. Multiple people have tried "superheroing" for real, most notably in Seattle. At best, it was a bunch of dorks in costume running around breaking up drunken brawls. At worst, masked vigilante Phoenix Jones became a criminal himself. Richard B, I've got a better movie idea: Texas succeeds from the Union (I'd be happy to see them go), and millions of sane Texans flee the state in a death-march reminiscent of the partitioning of Pakistan from India. The Federal government builds a wall along the entire northern border of Texas; Austin decides it doesn't want to remain part of Texas and so it completely walls itself off from the rest of the state, and the Federal government runs the blockade with airplane flights in-and-out of Austin several times a week. Just like East Berlin and West Berlin being walled off from the rest of Germany when the Russians took control. You could write it as a serious drama; or, considering what passes for education in TX and the ignorant mindset of those who would stay there, you could write it as a biting satire. Budding filmmakers, do your best! Or your worst.....🤔

The problem is the law specifically takes the government out of it. They throw judges under the bus to enforce this so you have to sue the judges which hasn't really been done. Why the Supreme Court should've just ruled if it's actually constitutional or not before allowing it to take affect. They also wrote a provision to allow you to still be sued while it awaits Supreme Court action. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Joe Robinette Biden. Two corrupt, neoliberal, sociopathic Republikkkans that could not care let about us! Thus, YOU DID THIS! And your Republikkkan Queen Hillary chose a "Pro-Life" Republikkkan (Tim Kaine) as her running mate! *Bernie by now would've canceled all student loan debts and medical debts* that millions of Americans (including me, my family and friends) are drowning in! *Bernie would've brought us immediately back in the Iran nuclear deal; ended the endless wars once and for all; legalized cannabis nationwide, etc.* And as a consequence, *Bernie would be the most popular president in decades! And he would be able to use the carrot and stick approach.* Bernie could offer Republikkkan scumbags like Sinema, Manchin special projects for their respective states, and if they'd still obstruct Bernie's agenda (which happens to be the American People's Agenda), he'd use the stick. Bernie would have an approval rating of 80-90, whereas the approval rating of Republikkkan scumbags like Manchin/Sinema is in their 30s, which means he could destroy them when they're up for reelection by supporting someone to their left! If I was an unpopular Republikkkan POS and my president that I'm obstructing is incredible popular, I'd think twice whether I'll keep obstructing this guy's agenda! *This is how you play politics! And* this is *how the social Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt passed his agenda! He was that popular that he won 4 elections! The Republikkkans literally had to come up with term limits in order to prevent the Democrats from permanently winning elections!* *But Joe Biden can't pressure his fellow Republikkkans because he's not popular (after all, he's a do-nothing DINO) and he won't pressure his fellow Republikkkans because he agrees with them!* *Therefore, if you wanna defeat Republikkkan scumbags (Trump, McConnell, Cruz, Graham, etc.), stop voting for Republikkkan scumbags (Obama, Biden, Pelosi, the Clintons, Mayor **#WallstreetPete**, Klobuchar, Copmala Harris, etc.) in the first place!* *Only support and vote for progressives like Bernie, AOC, Ilhan Omar, Charles Booker, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, Shahid Buttar, Ro Khanna, etc.!* *Progressives are THE ONLY PEOPLE who actually care for you and who are actually fighting for you, whereas all the filthy Republikkkan scumbags (Trump, Clinton, Biden, Obama, McConnell, Pelosi, Graham, etc.) are EXCLUSIVELY fighting for the wealthy that **-bribed-** "donated" to them!* *Politics isn't rocket science! If you serve the people who elected you and improve their lives, they'll love you and reelect you!* *And if you vote for corrupt, neoliberal, sociopathic do-nothing Republikkkans* (Obama, Biden, Pelosi, Clinton, etc.) *you'll get even more corrupt, even more sociopathic do-nothing Republikkkans* (McConnell, Cruz, Graham, etc.) *or outright lunatics (Trump, Marjorie Taylor Green, Lauren Boebert)!*

There's enough of a social stigma attached to virginity without a guy like that adding to the negative impression. Personally, I don't quite get why it's a source of shame. And I'd say that Dickson has plenty more relevant things to be ashamed of. Frankly, I'm not sure why he brought it up. I guess he feels like it gives him some kind of high ground. why is it so difficult to let a woman choose whether or not she can handle being pregnant, childbirth, raising a child? Not to mention if guys could get pregnant this wouldn’t be up for discussion. He should be concerned about state lawmakers that are cutting benefits that help mothers and their children (maternity leave, affordable daycare, head start programs, access to nutrition, housing) that’s being pro-life, not just pro-birth. You don’t want those “girls” suffering once they get here do you? Only 2% of Americans actually adopt, thousands of children languish in foster care. In America 50% of the homeless population and 80% of prison inmates can be traced back to the foster care system. Of the over 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S., 114,556 cannot be returned to their families and are waiting to be adopted. Among these children, males outnumber females, African American children are disproportionately represented, and over half are 6 years old or older. once they grow too old for the child welfare system? The sad truth is that many grown-up foster children end up homeless and on the streets
