Why Salesforce is better than Java.

In the 32th Episode of the #AskTheHulk series, Sirisha Asked about how to Implement CPQ.
Another question raised by Rahul is, “Why to switch Salesforce if somebody has already mastered Java?”
To this question, Shrey suggested that If you don't want to get saturated you can start working in the Salesforce industry because every year people get into Java Technology and many few left it. Continuing this Shrey also suggested that Salesforce is the booming technology so that you can make your career quickly.

I don't think anyone who wants to do just core development passionately should shift to salesforce.... I have been a SF Dev for long now and it feels that the dev tools are just not evolving

In my opinion, Java developers have more expertise than Salesforce developers in various aspects. The job market for Java developers is also vast. However, I have observed that some Salesforce developers struggle with understanding the fundamental principles of efficient and clean code. Finding a competent Salesforce developer can be challenging. If you are considering switching from Java to Salesforce, I suggest learning about Salesforce to determine if it interests you. Furthermore, if you are already skilled in Java, learning Salesforce should be a piece of cake.

@@Nikk_hilI will not fcuking waste your time buddy. let me help you and guide your career. Either grind the shit out of Core Java + dsa + leetcode+ core Java projects and then accelerating your learning to full stack web development using Java by learning advanced java like Spring along with a Javascript framework React. OR go don't learn all this and learn html, css, Javascript, React, Angular, Typescript, tailwindcss, Node js that's it and start building web dev projects by which you expect to get a frontend dev job and after that learn more backend languages to become an overall Full stack web dev. You can skip dsa in this route but must be amazing and strong at developing projects.

Wrong, Java came before Salesforce and will stay. Prior to salesforce we had SAP. Salesforce is where SAP once was. Salesforce development isn’t pure development but it pays the bills.

Java in battle tested programming language. Salesforce can be easily replaced by Microsoft dynamics, hubspot or sugarcrm in the near future

Java is definitely a great programming language to learn but Salesforce can't be replaced so easily as it is continuously upgrading its capabilities by adding more and more functionalities onto it.

Don't misguide young minds! If you are a Java developer then you are on an environment to build something like Salesforce or Paga or any application. But Salesforce developer does a customisation of Salesforce platform within its boundaries. The Salesforce platform is built on Java and Oracle database. In respect to the job market both provide amazing opportunities. Don't compare apples and oranges!

If you would have listened to what was said clearly you wouldn't have said this. The opportunities are less in Java than in Salesforce. Less in terms of numbers as well as compensations. Show us data which says otherwise and will remove th video.
