Rus is the best civ because it forces the other player to build an extra scout and try and play the hunting mini game without the bounty reward.

I start with Rus now. Liked the 466 Gold/min from my Tradehouse last Game.

Very helpful. I’m a new player, and coming from SC2 is giving me resource collection problems. Namely, when you’ve gone through your sheep do you try and build a TC on deer? Do you ever build a hunting cabin on deer? If you have professional scouts, are you constantly microing them to haul bodies from hunts to your TCs? I seem to have an issue with collecting enough food, all the other resources are plentiful enough.

Food is the most valuable and difficult resource to get in the early game. For all of your questions the answer is YES! You should ideally be always trying to put your TC on deer your hunting cabins on hunts if you need food and (if) you go professional scouts you should be ideally consistently trying to bring deer back to your TC. Resource management in Aoe4 is definitely harder than sc2. But once you get the handle of things it becomes easier, goodluck mate.

a really good combo for 2v2 nowadays is jeane and rus, jeane can solo boars and wolfs very fast, and you just last hit , she gets the xp.

But the Rus player will want the bounty.

Last time I played Age4 the Kremlin was unplayable (aside some water maps) and everyone went for the Golden Gate, trade for stone and make a 2nd TC. I wish you explained why Kremlin now is the go to for eco boom

Nothing wrong with Golden Gate if you feel that it fits your playstyle better. But the main reason Kremlin is the better eco landmark is because it helps you get a faster 2nd/3rd TC. Because it protects your stone/food with gremlins and allows you to skip the tower.

Can you always go 2TC with only militia? E.g. vs Abbasid 2spear/bow, French 2knight, English 2longbow What if deer is far away so you can't protect villager with Kremlin, or bow outrange Kremlin?

Depends, if you plan on always putting your TC on deer you may need to build spears vs Fre or Archer vs mil wing abba. You can develop the necessary reaction needed based on your base layout. For instance if your deer is behind your base and your kremlin protects your stone you can probably get a quick and safe enough TC to go TC w/o units. But if your deer is forward and you cannot protect it with your kremlin against fre or Abba mil wing, best to build a couple units early. In these matchups in particular you will often go for 3Tcs aswell with optimal play so you will require a few units early regardless. Overall use your best judgement going for a barrack vs Fre or Archer range vs Mil wing is not that expensive and can be necessary.

Theyre only the best in the hands of a conquerer player. Theyre extremely difficult to master and if you have carpal tunnel forget them they require massive apm.

can you do a guide how to play 3-3 or 4-4 99% of the guide is 1vs 1 :P

I could possibly do a 2v2 guide as I sometimes play this mode but I am not familiar with 3v3 or 4v4 strategies and build orders. :(
