Tone down the toxic drongs

Drongo, lying about being attacked 2 v 1 is really giving power to those who team up in these game modes. No one is going to believe others when this is happening and it's going to allow those players to excel, and it will become its own meta. Be cautious about lying about things like this as it very much is a double edge sword that can lead to bigger toxic gameplay. Just my two cents. We will see how it plays out.

i love your content i watched every ffa video you posted, but i gotta say i am not liking the "they're teaming" thingy.. the red showed respect and restrain and you took advantage of that.. when he (or other players) see this video they will no longer have this respect and restrain. Disappointed to not only see Drongo use these tactics but to promote them is unbearable. If you were to say things like Red is away from his base, or say player x is really strong that is fine. It accomplishes the same thing without poisoning the community.

What i think is truly incredible, is that they saw the Jeane strength coming, and they nerfed her from the release of the gamemode, with fewer villagers. They knew it was strong, and not even you saw it coming. That means it was playtested, and they acted on the tests. That speaks miles to me, and it's something that i don't see often enough; they just release the broken stuff as is, and then nerf it after the fact

All your "politics" did was let yellow know they should attack. Red left after the first fight because he lost the fight, not your "politics".

i don't think he crossed the line because he told you in the game ho you should deal this sort of behaviour asking for peace? weak! attack now the only time he was over it when had little gentle words for red but he explained why and said clearly he wouldn't do it normally i feel a little more of an excuse would have been better but all in all i wouldn't define him toxic or anything similar

with japanese, I personally struggle against chinese massing bees, as they beat the infantery mass and then you have to micro your springalds quite well

I was thinking that the rus having better pre-stone walls, and a resource generator BEFORE they dropped their TC might give them a bit of early game consistency (No gold no problem!) That and +1 villager from not needing to train a scout, bounty gather rate bonuses, the fortification/resource generator landmarks letting you cover early game lacks (Be it security, or easy resources of a type,) and the unusually strong feudal/castle age outposts. Horse archers also let you address spearmen holds pretty easily when your cavalry army is trying to snipe people, as you can have 10 or so units (basically nothing) inflicting heavy attrition against anyone trying to panic spend to stay alive.

We are maybe taking FFA too seriously. It's a fun RNG battle royale type mode.

I think it is fine to play diplomacy in this game and claim someone is cooperating or being in an alliance with others, so you can seek an alliance or help from others. However, teaming means two people at least plan to take advantage of information gap and cooperation because they know and deal with each other in reality. Your accusation of teaming is groundless and a real cheating, undermining the AOE4 community. Shame on you

Drongo one thing you're missing is that the rus market lm is essentially a step away from infinite stone. Infinite reasonably priced stone and they have infinite gold. These are real powers for long game FFA.

And if you get a map like that in FFA with Rus, you can make 10 pro scouts and gather up all the deer under your tc

I play Delhi quite a lot and I think tower of victory is essential. Delhi just doesn't have that many advantages and especially with slow upgrades extra attack MAA are pretty essential for castle fights.

So funny seeing all these knights come through, “You have no honor Drongo!” I agree kinda salty and shitty but also hilarious and tactful. If anything it will make it more hilarious when you get decked on.

13:00 in, Drongo, why not have the byzantines build just enough production that when they pump out a batch, it wont likely max out the pop. that way, the landmark that produces free units would function. you could think of the landmark as saving wood and time cost by building less production buildings. can you control group production buildings so that you dont produce from all of them at once all the time? perhaps have extra production buildings for emergencies, but only use like half of them most of the time.

Well Drongo, theres some salty comments below. I get ya, play the politics. I think a savvy player would ignore most comments and keep to their game plan. As you pointed out when someone says "don't attack" cue Shift attack. I think people shouldn't be rude. thats all. mis-information is a part of war.

It’s kinda funny to see the reactions here. I was accused of teaming by someone in an FFA a few weeks ago and I thought it was them doing exactly this, just trying to politik the lobby against me booming in the corner. I didn’t deny it either because it seemed like it was making them frustrated and it made it easier to kill them. But they really thought I was teaming, they messaged me in discord later that they had watched the replay and finally realized I wasn’t actually teaming. You gotta play the diplomacy game in ffa and there is nothing wrong with lying out your ass. My favorite FFA match was the Outback Octagon 2 match where Szalami took the one center sacred site with HRE and a key part of his pulling it off was redirecting the aggression via “diplomacy” in chat.

You want to see an awesome Gold game look at my 3rd win on 3/24. We beat the bombards. We had to move all of our home bases and killed their landmarks, It was Epic!! 😀 My name is Hanns in AOE4.
