We use home Depot pretty often for roof installs and seldom have a problem. If you use the app to check inventory before going just make sure there is a bunch in inventory. If it says 10 or less, they probably don't have shit! 🤣

You can buy two pallets, 56 rolls per pallet

Plan ahead. buy drip edge in quantity so you don t have to rely on big box store having it in stock.

It was all about proximity. Lowes was a mile and a half from the job so I tried that first. It all could’ve been avoided if I had not made the mistake in the ordering.

I just went into my local Home Depot to see if they any GAF sample books since Marvic was out of the way. The pros told me they never been asked that before and no they dont have any. I was baffled

Yeah well if you're going to Lowe's or Home Depot for shingles that's the first mistake. You're only going to have four or five colors to pick from... You should go to ABC or actual roofing supply company that way you have over 150 different other brands of colors to pick from

Believe It or not Lowe's and Home Depot have inconsistent shingles and they're considered seconds believe it or not.... Only roofing supply companies have factory first class A shingles. All those shingles at Home Depot Lowe's liquidation centers those are all second class shingles

I use ABC. They are really alow at getting us supplies though.

Lowes inventory is often incorrect. They show they have certain product but actually do not.

Build a relationship with the manager in that department. I’m very certain they want to push shingles out as much as Beacon or ABC roofing.

I left Beacon for LOWES and I’m saving so much. Yes, I do buy my Drip edge els where but that’s no big deal.

Rio Grande Valley. I purchase at Lowe’s in McAllen, TX. I still have a great relationship with Beacon but the prices brother. $5 less a bundle definitely does help

ABC eill always have your storm guard , will always have your high end products I guarantee you if you call beacon or SRS right now they won't have any storm guard. ABC is known for being more Superior because their systems larger SRS and beacon doesn't mail you invoices of things you bought helping it make it easier for you when it's time to tax. I've never received a letter from beacon with an invoice of materials I bought ABC sends me an invoice in my mailbox for everything I buy without me even having to ask for it. ABC doesn't charge for rooftop delivery but beacons is ABC doesn't charge for ABC is there a real contractors should be buying their shingles and roofing supplies all those other companies are basically places where you go whenever you burn your Bridges because you're an a hole at ABC
