I like how the wings of the corn planter come down. That is pretty cool. Now I understand tractors need auto stir, there is alot of data to look at. I like to now how many acres in one field, I bet over a 100 acres, or not more.

I'm an old man now, but when I was younger, I worked on a farm here in Georgia where the farmer grew a lot of soybean and corn. I ran a bush hog, repaired combines, grain drills, tractors, motor graders, etc. You get the picture. The worst part of the job was that he had a lot of Johnson Grass, which was sporadic and had to be sprayed by hand with a pump-up sprayer that I wore like a backpack. I walked miles, down row after row, having to return to my service vehicle time after time to to refill my tank. It seems like, with all the good that you are fortunate to enjoy in this short life, disappointments and failures are just part of the human condition. You are so lucky to have the life you have with Grant, (and Pepper). What a beautiful life you have. My parents were drunks and left us kids with nothing. I am retired now. I am 68 years old. Glaucoma took out my left eye. I live on Social Security. I have lived with my little sister for the last 10 years. Unfortunately, she passed away last month. And I have to get out of this house by next week. I fell into a pattern of helping the women in my family because no one else would do it. I took care of my grandmother until she passed away, then my Mom for 18 years until she passed away, and then my little sister until she passed away on March 8th of this year. They all developed illnesses, ranging from old age, lung cancer, Crohn's disease and Lymphoma. In doing so, I deprived myself from accomplishing what I needed to do to make sure that I did not end up homeless. I failed in that respect and have to figure out what I can do to survive. Never thought I would end up here. But, you have to deal with what life throws at you. I have a Harley and all the camping gear I need. So, I guess I am off on a new adventure. Do not know where I will end up, but if you ever need a dependable farm hand that is focused on your goals, and who has a CDL, (don't know if I could pass the D.O.T. physical, with the Glaucoma), but, I can still drive a truck. I actually love driving 18-wheelers. I really miss it. I know this was lengthy. But, I also know you are a people person and you actually care. What a refreshing youtube channel to be a part of. Wish I had met someone like you when I was young. Love the channel and the content. Very smart and very adorable. Grant is sooooo lucky. Love you guys and good luck with year's planting.

Good evening Sunshine! It's great seeing you and Grant again, especially your warm smile and beautiful eyes so full of zest. It was enjoyable going with you both on this shakedown day 0. I know you are a woman of faith as you have mentioned it a few times over the passage of time. You are good stewards of your land and the blessings that God has given you, and I know that God is faithful to those that love Him and follow His word. I understand that the planting time is stressful as you have so much riding on it, but I'd encourage you, once it's done to give it up to God and it's His problem at that point. You do your best and let Him do the rest and take care of you both. You are in my thoughts and I will be praying for you guys. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.

I so look forward to your first planting video every year and have done so since your first post when you were planting in April of 2020 at which time I right away subscribed. Love your enthusiasm for farming which I share. The main reason I chose farming as a career is that I really like raising, especially corn, and soybeans in the Midwest. Very familiar with your and Grant's machinery and I watch and enjoy your videos with intensity. I'm glad Hamilton County missed the tornado outbreak(s); and after checking the satellite view of the weather here in Northeast Missouri, I usually have a look at what your weather is.😊😊

Regarding your question about if we’d buy beef direct: my wife and I have been watching through the past year, we’d certainly buy beef through you, it’d be a nice new way to support the channel too.

hi guys you ought to keep your eye out for a telehandler or a regular fork lift or use a loader bucket so you can just off lift your seed bags right into your planter and save your back and it would get you back in the feild alot faster.. love the videos keep em coming.

Hi Laura and Grant, looking forward to another planting season. My husband found you in 2020 Laura, and we’ve been with you ever since. We laughed remembering when you went thru McDonald’s,what are these two doing?haha..that was fun. Thru your wedding, trips and farming. So appreciate you sharing with us what it takes to farm. Also educating us and your viewers. Just plant a seed, yeah right,we need to wake up. No farmers no food. Keep up the good work. We’ll be there cheering and praying for you. Love from PNW❤

Amazing the technology farmers use today. I'm 61 and a farmer I used to hunt on was known for having the crookedest rows. He would laugh and say you got more corn out of a crooked row.

I think that I could watch you two do ANYTHING. Moab was just FUN you need a break from the work once in a while. Loved it and so did the NEW SUBSCRIBERS that you picked up.
