Laura Farms

2024 - my fifth year farming row crops (Corn and Soybeans) in Nebraska, USA!
Follow along as we learn how to farm...together! My channel features vlog-style videos of everyday life on the farm, as well as equipment demos, collaborations with other farmers, and off the farm, outdoor fun.
I'm here to educate people about farming in the midwest while I'm learning myself. Incredibly grateful and thankful to God for this opportunity to share my life's story with all of you. Thanks for being here!

I also have two 4020's. A 1966 and a 1967. Both synchro diesels. The 1967 is a Detroit repower and the 66 has a koyker 510 loader run from power beyond hydraulic.

We had the FFA and the FHA here in michigan, Governor George Romney was a real big supporter of both, and Richard Friske was our congressman in the 106th district in 1970. He owned a local fruit farm of apples of many varieties peaches and sweet cherries and tart cherries and other vine and shrub fruits, many varieties our school was supported by taxes from the East Jordan Iron Works, if you look at any manhole covers you'll find they were likely made there, our school was also supported by various and sundry farms, we had Sherman's Tart Cherry orchards, a relative of theirs's owned Sherman Canning Company. We have cattle farms and vegetable farms and fish farms. There's manhole covers from EJIW in Lizban, Los Angeles, New York City, Lincoln. We're closer neighbors than you may have thought, there's manhole covers in Honolulu from EJ.LOLLOL

I fell in love with the 4020 in the early seventies I moonlighted in evenings plowing, discing, roller harrowing in northern Wy did that for a couple years then the farmer that I was working for got a 4430 fell in love with that one also because of the quiet cab and heating and air I did that every spring and fall for 12 years enjoyed every minute

I hope no one buys such a useless, expansive and crazy piece of trash machinery. It’s beyond realistic. How much acres you need to work until you can afford it
