In GT, he made the Black-Star Dragon Balls, so it may be he had both magic and combat abilities. And considering the Dragon Balls are proportional to the maker, he was likely the top of his species since the black-stars were basically like DBS' "super" Dragon Balls.

Namekians are the most interesting group of characters in dragonball dbz/dbs and even dbgt, the fact that they have control over magical dragons and have so much untapped power is incredible, they can regen health, heal, fuse and divide themselves truly epic beings.

Also genderless slug/plant people that don't need food, can stretch like rubber, regenerate limbs and make themselves gigantic. Piccolo should be the most op thing in the show, but is sidelined by space apes.

There's a fan-made animated mini-series called Dragon Ball: Deliverance (free on youtube) that invents a fascinating new history of Namek, where they used to be a highly advanced society, in terms of science, technology, architecture but also magic. I'd highly recommend it.

I feel as though the Nameless Namekian was PROJECTED to have been stronger than freeza, but due to lack of sun light and different water/atmosphere it may have stunted his growth, followed by him splitting, it likely accounts for Kami and Daimao being so weak in hindsight

Piccolo and Kami are one and the same person and count as a single being, which is why their life force is tied to each other.

Sadly, with akira passing, its likely this story never gets resolved.

Dragon Clan Namekians: Sage types Warrior Clan Namekians: Super Namek types I think there was a part in the Dragon Ball Budokai 2 game where if you play as Piccolo and you arrive at Elder Guru's Hut he calls you by your original name. I also have this Theory as well where Piccolo's orange form was in fact the original nameless Namekian's true self.

Remember in the World Martial Arts Tournament, Ma Junior after Goku hit him with a Super Kamehameha said. (Silence mortals I am King Piccolo Reincarnated) That right there he is King Piccolo. Up until the Saiyan saga Piccolo was really Evil & wanted to rule the world. Until Goku sacrificed himself for others, it was such an honorable death he started to change. Considering he split into a Warrior and a Dragon, perhaps what made the Nameless a Super Namekian was the potential to gain the powers of multiple clans? The ability to create Dragonballs, but also the power of a Warrior clan, and so forth.

Namekians are so under appreciated, and personally I think they are underutilized. I mean these are so very good hearted beings and they have so much to offer the story. Imagine the gang asking the Namekians for more information, the book of legends is the greatest source of info so why not use it?

It'll turn out to be that Piccallo is the Nameless Namekian who's actual name is Zalama in a far weaker way

Here's an idea: the nameless Namekian may have forgotten his name long before he split into Kami and Piccolo. If you remember, the story goes that he was abandoned on Earth when he was a child, and spent a long time isolated. Piccolo just meant "open" in the Namekian language, so it's likely that he just mistook the word used to open the doors of his ship as his own name.

Well, lets look at the power levels. Vegeta in Saiyan saga was 18,000. A theoretical SSJ Vegeta here would be 900,000. Guru wondered if the saiyan that killed The Son of Katatz was a Super Saiyan. Implying only a SSJ would stand a chance. Frieza's first form is only 530,000. And Nail said he Piccolo had not split with Kami he would be able to handle Frieza easily. Last time Guru saw the Son of Katatz (Nameless Namekian), he was 19. So lets assume he had a PL of 900,000 at that age. And it had been hundreds of years since Kami and Piccolo split. Imagine if thye remained as one, and trained for those hundreds of years. 100% final form Frieza isn't standing a chance.

I think, considering the way the dragon balls work, if his dragon balls are capable of affecting GT Goku, the way that they did, and there was nothing Goku could do about it he’s probably stronger than all of z

Would be sick if we got more backstory in Super on Garlic and the nameless namekian competing for guardian of the earth

Interesting note. I've said that Piccolo and Kami be reunited made them solely a warrior type Namekian when separated Kami was a hybrid of a warrior clan with lesser fighting capability and gained dragon clan abilities to create the dragonballs and King Piccolo took the majority of the warrior type powers they both shared after Kami expelled the evilness within himself.

I've always wondered what if Piccolo travelled to Hell, met up with the original evil King Piccolo & then fused?

I wonder if Toriyama had notes and letters and journals and such like Tolkien, which will slowly come to light and continue to influence the world he created long after his passing?

My theory is that the old big elder hatched an egg with a lot of his own dna and sent it into space to prevent namekians from going extinct. However the weather managed to go back to normal after a while and the grand elder survived beginning to rebuild the population on their own planet. So maybe the nameless namekian was probably the grand elders son like piccolo junior is to king piccolo.

Fan theory! What if in DragonBall Daima we find out that the Demon King Piccolo is still alive somehow, but he's been in hiding. And, he's the one responsible for turning Goku and the others into kids again. I doubt that's what "DragonBall Daima" is going to be about personally, but it's a fun theory to contemplate.

Demon King Piccolo is still alive technically, as current Piccolo was originally treated as his reincarnation. It would still be interesting to see, but I don't think that It would make sense.

I don't think the missing link to the Nameless Namekian is King Piccolo fusing with Kami instead of Piccolo Junior. I at least think that isn't the only missing link. I think a missing link is the fact Piccolo absorbed Kami instead of Merging with him. Absorbing Kami filled most of the gap, but it didn't close the gap. A merger is what is needed to get the Nameless Namekian.

when he turned orange, that was when he became a true super namekian. every species probably has a super form. a higher state that makes them change color. golden frieza is not even a saiyan but obtained a golden form. i believe that even humans could achieve some similar type of enlightenment of power and transform. all species probably can.

Kami was stupid and selfish for doing that separation. Rather than dealing with his demons he released it into the planet and ignored it entirely. 😂 Just kept watching everything Andrews did absolutely nothing.

Well to be fair being a "god" of the Earth does have a lot of responsibilities, so he might've been too busy to do it himself. Plus, he knew there were other fighters on Earth who could take him out, so he wasn't worried.

Wait he was 19?? I always got the impression that he was meant to be very young.

Piccolo was already fused with Nail, when he fused with Kami. So he didn't become the nameless Namekian, well not 100%. Nail being in there could actually hinder Piccolo and Kami becoming that prodigy once again.

I always surmised that Piccolo's current form was unbalanced. He is 1.5x Warrior Type and 0.5x Dragon type. He should take up Vegeta's offer to remove Nail from his body. I think Nail is actually preventing him from reaching his full potential. Or maybe the Dragon Balls helped him reach that potential in spite of the imbalance. But the ideal perfect Namekian is a Dragon Type who is just as powerful as a Warrior Type.

agreed. I think they were basing that off of the power that Frieza had shown them thus far by that point, and not necessarily his full power because i'd like to believe that anyone who saw Frieza's other transformations prior to the Namek Saga probably never lived long enough to tell the tale.

Guru knew the Son of Katatz personally. They were the last two survivors of their race after the cataclysm that wrecked their world. Son of Katatz (aka Nameless Namekian) was 19 when he left Namek. Guru was basing his estimations on that. And he implyied it would've taken a SSJ to kill the Son of Katatz. Vegeta in Saiyan Saga was 18,000. A theoretical SSJ Vegeta would be 900,000. So let's say a 19yo Son of Katatz is around 900,000. Yet... Kami is hundreds of years old. So imagine if he did not split and trained for hundreds of years. He'd be way above Frieza's final form.

Kami fusing with piccolo instead of Merging would be better because of the formula Saiyan Scholar made. A X B X 100= ?

What about the fact that, up until Goku arrived on Namek, no one had seen any of Frieza's other forms? I truly believe that the Nameless Namekian, although im sure quite powerful in his own right, wouldn't have actually been able to hold his own against Final Form Frieza. Js

Why all your videos so short lately ?

Heres what i would do if i were ever reincarnated or whatever into the dragon ball world. Befriend goku and the rest of the z cast. Ask to be taken to namek for a wish or just use the regular dragon balls if they can even grant it. Ask for my power to grow by 1.5x or 2x every second exponentially and to always be able to control it.. Within 100 seconds, i'd be many trillions of times stronger. And then quadrillions. Then quintillions. Within a day, i'd probably surpass an angel.

taking your idea a step further...in superhero they kept bringing up the whole "demon" king piccolo thing he kept saying that's not me it was a long time ago...in GT they had him end the series in HifL soo what if at end of super he ends up there and absorbs the actual dead king piccolo becoming king of HilF.....?

Dude you are over estimating the Nameless Namekian. Guru said that if the Nameless Namekian never split that he might not have died from Vegeta, which being generous would have him likely between base Vegeta and Ozaru Vegeta. Nail was saying that merging with Kami might allow Piccolo to take on Frieza.

If he was a SSJ that would put him at 900,000. And this was a 19 year old Son of Katatz that Guru and Nail were refering to. Kami is hundreds of years old, so had he remained as one and trained for that long.... he'd be WAAAYY stronger.

@@EndoScorpion Don't forget that Nappa had a high power among Saiyans with most being under Nappa in power. After reading Krillin's mind, Guru then said "he might not have had to die" meaning that the Nameless Namekian's victory over Vegeta wouldn't be a guarantee.
