Money plays a very big role in child rearing and no of kids. Mr ambani had a very happy time raising 3 kids and giving them empires but for most parents it's a journey of continous sacrifice and compromises in daily needs and wants.

Me and my wife were discussing the same few days back we never thought it was an national issue …And then we concluded to have only one kid …Increasing expenses is one of the the main factors of our decision… Now a days I feel disgusting when I look at some of the Gen Z and Alpha… They are not innocent anymore… (Which was the reason why the children used to be called as God) They became privileged and disrespectful… In the name of becoming smart all what they learned is speaking in English 😂😂😂

Yes, the overpopulated cities and villages are already a burden to natural resources. Struggle for resources and opportunities has been witnessed by this generation and whatever decision this generation is taking should be respected because it is affected by multidimensional factors. If we procreate with the same rate as the yester generation did then soon there will be a significant percentage of population who will be landless, jobless, Resourceless etc. I think people are taking decisions after a lot of analysis and they understand how much they can compromise on mental and physical health and finances specially when they are in high input demanding jobs etc.

It's okay to be child-free. the decision not to be a parent should be respected and admired. It's a personal choice. And rather it is a very noble need. Much respect for all couples who want to be child-free.

Nobody will feed and take care of the child except the parents. So it's personal choice, Indians never cared for increased population so why should care for declined population, I would say it's a welcome change in Indian society.

India needs to start promoting childfree life, we are dealing with overpopulation without any policy to counter it, population will lead to horizontal expansion of cities destroying everything in the process.

For couples who want to separate, even the children can't stop them. They will separate and distribute custody of children among themselves. So children may not be the right tool to stop separation or divorces.

This kind of social pressure should actually be ignored by younger generation of today. Its a big problem now , financially as well as emotionally. Better to remain child less and contribute towards , reducing India's population.

Having a child is a privilege not a write. Not everyone should have kids .

I also want to be child-free. I am an antinatalist. For many reasons, I prefer to be childfree in future. I try to donate money for other problems but I never want a child.

I think married couples should work on themselves and communicate with eachother rather than deciding to have children and expect it will change or bring more intimacy and understanding between partners. One should have children because they are ready and really want that kind of responsibility and happiness..it is wrong to bring a child just to improve relations between partners. I feel.

I recently gave birth to a child and believe me i had seen my body go through the transition. It is a huge sacrifice and it raised my respect for my parents. The happiness i get after i see my child is incomparable and i can sacrifice everything for my baby. I have decided not to marry for these all reasons. If i find no condicive conditions i would not marry, such as not finding an appropriate psrtner, or not proper conditions for marriage. Even if i marry i would not have children to further my lineage. As you have specified all those problems exist for me as well as caring for the nature and natural resources.

The problem of 5% of people in India of having no kid can't be generalized. 90% still believe in the family system. And after marriage have at least one or two kids. Now people are getting more aware about the expenses of raising a child. Problem is having a single child. Child feels lonely in a nuclear family, not having siblings who may help him, parents also pamper the kid and the child gets spoiled eventually.

Climate changes, war possibilities, child trafficking , change in people mentality these are the reasons why today's couple want to be childless in my opinion. Bacchon ke upar hone wale crimes bhi itne bad gye h ki darr lagta h ap har jagah apne bacche ke sath ni reh skte or ajkal log bhi utne kind ni reh gye h bachon ke liye career education ke sath agar baccho ke prati sensitive hone ki education bhi di jaye so that will be good

Also work in private sector is tough to continue till 60..by 50 you will think of quitting and relaxing...which is not possible if u have kids

modernisation has created many problems 😮

In every scenario, the main problem is money. Provide quality free education and health care. All problems will be solved.

It was 1 child policy not 2. It changed their demography for worse. There is nothing to like about. Reason can be understood but how it was implemented is a different case altogether Taiwan followed the same trajectory without the policy, so is India. Look for some documentaries in free time about 1 child policy, it was brutal for its people. Infants, premies were on streets murdered.

The main factor for discouragement to raise children is money. There is no money and also reservation. You children will study for 24 hours and might still not get a job whereas st, sc, obc will get a job by studying half of that amount

Irony is I am a hardworking person and try to do everything perfect. Now working in govt sector and feeling relaxed. There r so much politics going on here also but the mental pressure reduced to almost 10 percent. I am feeling happy now

To be honest, though I sympathize with the reasons to not have kids, now that I am getting to know my grown children as young adults, I am so happy and thrilled with the amazing individuals they have become. Everything in my life , good and not good, led their presence in the world and I feel blessed! Having them young allowed me to evolve with them and empathise with them. Old people should avoid having kids as it requires a lot of energy and humility.

This subject is very Conflicting in my relation too.. Parenting responsbilities, sleep stress, career responsbility, many skill rest to develope, indivisual growth, etc.. Scare me. sometimes i think how much selfish i am being, but in the growing youth era some scares are genuine.. And this video made me relax that.. I am not only one 😢😢

with education, awareness, growing technology, etc. fertility rate of a country decreases but at the same adoption should also be considered (if someone decides to have a child at a very late age coz fertility rate also decreases with age). Nothing better than giving a child better life

There may be three main reasons One of them high cost education, other is nobody to look after the child, another thing is they might find it stressful to raise a baby.
