When I wasn’t aware of narcissistic people I would just discard them bc of their negative energy. I had no idea that they were that way. Every one of them went crazy trying to re-enter my life, I didn’t understand the BS. Now, I’m aware of them or ppl who I suspect and discard left/right , go no contact on all levels with no access to me…. their relatives, friends , whoever associated with them too….innocent or not. My life is good 😂

If only I'd had this awareness when I was a youngster; I'd have binned off my "father", along with his "friend from work" - she was his mistress, then girlfriend, now 2nd wife, 3 ex-boyfriends A LOT SOONER & my ex-friend, she would have lasted 3 minutes, not 3 exhausting & very costly in every way imaginable years! Thanks Danish & thanks to all here sharing, offering validation & some hearty laughs too. One:LOVE.

The narc also knows if you get away from them, and go no contact, you will be able to think more clearly, and recognize there deceitful ways. As long as you maintain contact with them you stay in a fog like state of mind.

You just put in a nutshell what I have been discovering; 467 days since I had their sour faces in mine, since I had their vile noise in my ears. My "father" & his 2nd wife, SUCK the life out of you. It's quite startling, the clarity that has given way to epiphany after epiphany - the clanging from all the pennies dropping has been deafening - all the dots are now connected. I believed for a long while that he just didn't bank on my remarkable recall, my earliest memory is of being 20 months old collecting my new baby sister & mum from hospital. But, you're right, he KNEW about my amazing memory, it was that, along with my soul & mind that he sought to annihilate, with his endless abuses. Over a year since I pushed him away, he MUST know that I have all these memories in my arsenal now, that he would have a much harder battle on his hands getting me to submit yet again - that's why, the insults & infantilisation, gaslighting & guilt-trips have been replaced with incessant, it is now grossly sickening, pathetic & transparent lovebombing. Transparent not least because he was not, never was so effusively sentimental BEFORE the time I binned him off! I laugh at him. It wasn't funny, what he did to my mum, to my family, he is a sick joke at the expense of people he claimed to care for. But, his desperation is delicious, as I exhumed my self-esteem, I found my power & he will NEVER EVER EVER take it from me again. Pitiful, ain't he? One:LOVE.

My thought exactly ! You are reading my mind! Being in no contact with him, is helping me see things clearly, what he really is. He is trying to break it, to be my friend, just to keep me hooked and take sadistic pleasure out of my pain,, but I am sticking to my contact! I am finally disgusted at his tricks

They think trauma bonding is love. So sad.

Ghosting is one of the biggest mistakes a narcissist ever makes. The more they do it, the more they give their victims a chance to heal without them hindering their lives. So the next time they disappear off the face of the earth, don’t bother calling them to find out where they are. That’s what they want, you to chase them. Leave them to it and start erecting those boundaries that will eventually leave these evil people permanently out in the cold with supply that they suddenly realise they don’t want to be with, but it’s way too late for them by then.

I literally just experienced this a new neighbor who I thought was being friendly towards me but she is one of the worst narcs I’ve ever met! I blocked her # and she showed up to my house unannounced. I will never acknowledge her again.

Because they wanna make your life a living hell.

I am no contact with my ex-narc. It's early days but I haven't heard a word from him. I did wonder whether to wish him seasons greetings but common-sense prevailed!

What we decided to go full contact with them and just do something violent to them. They can't handle that can they.

I used violence against mine. Hit him several times and he told me I gave him anxiethy but he still wanted me again and again. He never loved himself! Im no contact now. Praying it to stay this way. He is soon leaving for Thailand. I pray to God to make me so strong that I will not go one more time to see him.

I got this random guy and girl from Uruguay , totally random people I dont know, super obsessed and don’t want me to go no contact. Lol

I told him, I am not interested in a relationship. And he was wondering how I can survive on my own without a girl.

I am going no contact. Reason why, is because she talked to my friend. An would tell her that i got ahold of her. Even though she didnt reply to me. Than i realized i was being a source of supplie. And cut it off. She is my ex time to move on

What if you go contact and that pisses them off but you stay closeby... How risky can that be.. M dealing with covert narc.
