I will never understand how a narc who KNOWS they did someone wrong can have the audacity to be mad that the person no longer wants anything to do with them. The lack of logic and common sense is so incredibly strange.

I'm going thru it right now. She even wore a t-shirt reading, "I'm over it." It was directed at me. Her attitude was that she gave me every chance to come to her, talk to her, let her know that we need to be together. But I never did, so she's OVER IT. I gave you a chance to make it right, but now I'm OVER IT! Its truly unreal.

I told my ex narc the same thing even with examples but he could not process it because he thinks we are foolish, how did you wake up, why did you all of a sudden go, what did you see, I’ve been abus*ing you the whole time and it made sense , we took it before so they expect it to be forever, we made them pompous so they saw us to be forever stu**pid

My soon to-be-ex husband hurt me so badly, I had to go to the ER. The ER doctor prescribed me something. I thought he was sorry when he offered to pick up the script for me, which he did, dropping them off, then took off to his brothers place. The doctor had prescribed 10 pain pills, when I opened them there were only 9. He had STOLEN 1! The mentality of someone who steals the medication needed for the injury THEY caused, is truly incomprehensible. Absolutely reprehensible. No conscience whatsoever. Sick, sick, SICK! Good riddance! I am a poet. I wrote this haiku after the police took him away. Freedom is without You, peace is without you too. Life sings without you. This is true! GET AWAY NOW!

Truly great advice. Spot on. I've left the family and friends of the NPD's I've had the displeasure to meet- behind me. Some of those people were great, but I avoided the expected battle after the break-up. I felt that it would interfere with life goals. My first experience was after years of no contact- an NPD- wrote me a letter, asking me to return. NO WAY. Having already moved forward, with responsibilities, there was no way I would disrupt my life to "spend some time" (and see what might happen with someone? LOL) I had learned not to expect change. I learned as a child not to expect change. I also have experience with the harem concept, and learned that NPD's use previous romances, to inspire others in their harem. That's a game I don't want to be involved with.

My narcissist family member still attempts to hoover me around pivotal points of the year like even on my own birthday and during the wintertime. It’s really hard when they have no regard for your day, your feelings- or lack thereof because I’ve moved on but apparently I still live rent-free in some people’s heads. The narcissist even ignored letters from my lawyer we sent to get the narc to cease any all contact. The narcissist wrote back to my lawyer after we sent the letters (yes, multiple ones) to cease and desist communication. Said the narc would respect my wishes… also said that, although my intentions were good” aka not taking accountability “I will not attempt to contact-“ but then went back to it after 2020. So the narcissist left me high and dry during a pandemic, but will only reach out to me on my own birthday just to ruin my mood.. they respect NO ONE’s boundaries, they definitely crave control, and they can’t take accountability or make their wrongs right.

Sorry youve had this fun ride in life. Good for you for educating yourself and putting it into practice. Boundaries are not understood to narcs. Your birthday is a pivot to contact while appearing upbeat and benevolent! Except, you Know the backstory. Other times of contact, winter? Might have same meaning. It's a trap for you, respond honestly, you r holding up communication. React as they want, oh thanks you're so great to remember me!, makes you sick. So just stay the course Be Yourself, Life is not Disney, and it's not that you didn't want a nice relationship, just that isn't really what they're offering, and! They r using your PERSONAL SPECIAL DAY OR DAYS OR TIME OR PLACE!! Twisted! so, just keep those types out of your life. Love this channel. 🤝

I was too after a NDE back in 2018. Broke my back and was having trouble breathing in the ambulance. Then the emt had the gall to laugh because my blood pressure was so high.. making light of my pain and suffering in the immediate aftermath, I will never forget that.. that day scarred for me for life both literally and figuratively. The event has had a long lasting impact on quality of my life, I still suffer from back flare ups and I don’t pass the area in which it happened. I just take things day-by-day. But that day in particular really showed me who my real friends, family, close ones were and who were not.

She, aka my 83 year old abusive mother is going to be so pissed off when I don't contact her for Mother's day... She hung up on me and stopped talking to me once again! just because I decided to tell her she hurt me by something she said. She told me "I don't have time for this" then click...I'm tired of it! I'm 60 and she is so controlling as long as I do her will, serve her and let her hurt me without sticking up for myself all is well... I keep trying and it always ends up the same... I stopped flying out to visit her 5 years ago because every time I'm down there I am her Cinderella... her maid! She works me until the day I leave... I am a people pleaser, not proud of it! and I guess I'm still afraid of her... Her love is conditional! she gives it and takes it away to punish me... I need to let her go... I still love her...

O my I was my mom's Cinderella. I did so much for her. I felt afraid of her and loved her more than anyone. I knew she wasn't treating totally well. I wanted her validation and I never got it. She died. She curse me out in the morning before the ambulance took her to the hospital. After telling her several times in different conversations that I love her. That night she said goodnight last words I heard her voice.
