Genesis coupe one of the best if you keep it with the right setup exhaust your car befor the headers i guess old set up sounds was perfect

Thanks a bunch, I wish I could say it sounds exactly like that but you just don’t get the same experience as in person by watching it.. As stated, I wasn’t a big fan of it at first but it grew on me

Seriously i think this car looks soo soo good the build quality really really hurts it damn nice design and the exhaust you put on takes it to a different territory bro🎉

I’m just stating what a lot of ppl have told me, and there’s my setup for everyone that asked about it👍🏽

It sounds pretty much like my 3.8 Borrego. It's still on stock headers but straight piped from the cats back

To each their own, it feels obnoxiously loud but if you're happy that's all it matters. I have a bk2 3.8 gtr and I run a Bastuck catback, made in Germany. Not crazy loud, enough though

The best exhausts for the Genesis Coupe 3.8 are Solo Performance, ISR Race or street, or the ARK-DTS exhausts. That is all. After spending 2020 and 2021 doing research on cars in general and learning more about the Genesis Coupe, I have decided I will go with the Solo Performance exhaust combined with NGM headers, *IF* I plan to keep a 3.8 engine inside of it and not 2.0 or LS swap it. Why? There are videos of the Solo Performance exhaust, and I think many overlook the exhaust. The few reviews I have read say it is quiet on idle or cruising, but when the gas pedal is pressed hard, it opens up very loud. There is also no drone. It also still has that GT-R sound. People have also added ISR or Ark test pipes with the Solo Performance to get an even better sound. If you are looking for a single exit, then the ISR is the best, and it still has that 3.8 V6 GT-R sound.

For the 3.8 the CNT v3 is the best, add in some headers of choice and you have one of the best sounding v6

Get the obx headers they are better designed than the ngm ones

I got True dual custom 3 inch pipe with irs test pipes fixing to put NGM headers on

Should sound great with the headers.. Won’t be nearly as loud as mine, but definitely should be a nice tone

Well since you asked... No, it doesn't sound like a v8, far from it. Sound is a bit on the obnoxious side to me. I'm glad you like it tho. When you can't go fast, go loud I guess.

Not being a hater but it just sounds like a normal catless, straight piped Genesis, that’s how mine sounded with test pipes, headers, and a straight pipe, it’s deep but still sounds like a v6 up top with rasp. I have a turbo 3.8 now and am catless with a catless down pipe and it sounds very very deep now, even in boost, and the turbo just kills all the rasp, and my friends joke about how I have a v8 in there now

Not a hateful comment at all.. I’ve gotten countless ppl asking me what I swapped into it and all kinds of stuff, and I got tired of explaining it. Imma start sending them to this video lol.. But turbos kill rasp, which is why I love my Miata exhaust now😍💪🏽

@@pj_morrison it’s probably just the video because cameras kill ALL deep tones for exhaust, but I don’t doubt it sounds nice af, mine did, and sounds even better now I know you have resonators so that may make it sound a bit better than my full straight pipe did

It really just depends on how you drive it and how much attention you put into the maintenance. I don’t redline the piss out of it, clutch kick, or try to “slide” the car. I also stay on top of fluid changes, spark plug changes, and anytime I hear or feel anything outside of the norm I take care of it sooner than later. But yea, my car is very reliable and I love it👍🏽
