mine was a money pit. I miss the exhaust note though, and people constantly asking me what kind of car it is.

I loved my genesis coupe 🤧🥺 these cars are so beautiful. They know how to be elegant and sporty.

Hyndai overall is underrated

This vid encompasses everything I disliked about my two genesis coupes. Thousands of dollars can be tossed into “performance” and not much to show for it on the track. That said, there’s a ton I loved about the cars too, but damn it’s silly how little performance potential these 3.8 have. Gotta be ready to enjoy stock power level or risk breaking the car, and minimal Hyundai aftermarket when it happens. Ready to see what’s next man, ready for a v8?

and here i'll be done paying off my 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Ultimate this Dec. It's mostly stock, but i've replaced the speakers, added a bass tube, LED interior lamps for the floorboards and replaced most of the interior lamps with blue LEDs. I also replaced the license plate and trunk bulbs with blue LEDs as well. I keep mine in a garage, so it's still in excellent shape /w no major paint loss on the interior or exterior. I just flipped the ODO to 20K, so it's low mileage. Soon i'm going to take it out for a detailing/wax/leather treatment I also picked up the newest mapnsoft addons, just wish they had issued Android Auto for our Nav units. My wife got a 2021 Elantra a few weeks ago and the Nav unit with AA is FAR superior to the GPS/Map system in our Genesis Coupe. I noticed Hyundai updated all of the Genesis 2016 line of cars, expect for the Coupe...lame. It's a shame Hyundai didn't offer a backup cam option for US citizens. I saw someone in Canada (on Reddit) posted pics of it and it looks great. It's possible to splice in the wires to the center console (or the driver's kicker panel I have heard as well) to allow US versions to use the same backup camera. Luckily the Nav unit has all the software installed and works correctly as long as the cam is hooked up right. Someday I would like to install some new headlight bulbs vs the stock ones. Since I still have a warranty and maintenance package, i'm hesitant to do anything more since these dealers look for any reason to deny you service.

Any plans for pulleys, a throttle body spacer, or e85? Should give you a nice bump in power. Other than that I would throw some springs, sway bars, endlinks, stainless brake lines, carbon ceramic pads, and motul 660 brake fluid in it.

Love the build bro! Have to ask, I have a 2015 3.8 and I get a shake in the steering wheel at about 65 even after balancing and several alignments. Have you run into this issue? Seems like it’s a thing on the genesis

Same thing was happening on my 2020 veloster. Got aftermarket wheels on it and an alignment and ever since it has done the same. Just picked up a 2015 genny 3.8 coupe so I'm hoping the same doesn't happen when I put on new 295s.. let me know if u figure this out been looking on forums

Hey, Ethan I have question I know you no longer have a genesis coupe but I recently installed the ark test pipes and I’m starting to hear a like ticking noise, but I only hear it on the outside of the car do you know what it could be, also do the test pipes void power train warranty

@@GenesisCoupeHUB when its on it only does it sometimes, another problem or concern I have is after the car has been sitting off for like 40 min when I start it back up it clicks in the engine for like 2 seconds im thinking my tensioner or something along those lines
