I appreciate your humility in sharing this for the welfare of the community. I like that you also pointed out how how ground handling the wing more would have been a better choice. Good post.

Sharing the good and the bad always helps people learn, hats off for being the one to share. There’s a lot of ‘pressure’ at fly ins which is normally self induced, maybe why these launches didn’t go so well? Had you given the glider time to settle after inflation then turning and going you probably would have been off first time. I bet the outcome would have been much different on a normal weekend without so many people about.
