Your First Flight without your Instructor
A new Paramotor pilot will always have the jitters once they have left the security of flying under the watchful eye of their professional instructor and now have to make their first flights alone back at home. I highly encourage a responsible flying community to help these new pilots and "take them under our wings". We should be watching them pre-flight, helping them set up their gear, and providing feedback on their launches and landings. With this mindset, we help to create a safer and more enjoyable flying experience for our entire PPG community.
In this video, Rob has recently completed his training with Leading Edge PPG, has his new Polini motor broken in and is now ready to fly his new Fly Products Flash Cruiser with his BGD wing. We went out to a wide open field to make his maiden flight and stretch his wings for the first time back at home.

Been waiting for the next David Wolfe video! Thanks for sharing it and congrats to Rob!
Great Job David! I almost went up that night as well, but I have been up in the smoke and like you said, not too pretty. Glad to add another member to the local crew!
Looks so much fun! I know how fun it is to land, and when you see a good wing throttle back up into the air.
Can't wait! Aviator paramotor here I come. Great video and nice maiden.
I'm glad to see you're doing well. He did a great job and yes this smoke is absolutely insane. Yesterday we wasn't much over a mile visibility.
Great seeing you do what you do again my friend... missed ya ;) P.S. Rob did great !!! thanks for sharing brother

Haha I can see my house at 7:12 😆 Dude looks like he’s got it down pat! I take it he’s local to that LZ? Give him my #, tell him to shoot me a message if he’s ever lookin for a wingman.
You never mentor me, you just say point that way, throttle and pray! Lol. Great video, was surprised to get a notification you put one out.

David, Great videos. Do you still have your Fly-pod trike? Would you recommend it? Thanks Bill

Hi Bill, thanks. No, I do not have the Fly pod. It served his purpose for a while, but after using other trikes, I found that I liked features better. I did not like the boat seat with only a seatbelt securing me in. I also did not like how the cotter pins rattled in my ears. Like I said it got the job done, but there are other trikes that I prefer.
Looking for someone to fly with in Northeast Ohio is your friend close to me
