This is coming as a friendly advice. I've been watching your videos a lot and I noticed in your recent ones you've been selling out a bit too much. I get it, it's your job, you need to earn a living. But it has reached the point where the whole video feels like an ad with some info segment instead of the other way around.

1- I don't shed short hairs all around the house, long hair is easier to clean 2- I have to cut it way less frequently, and can do it myself 3- If people confuse me with a lady sometimes they'll leave me the bus seat

Another reason why you should grow your hair out is to enjoy it while it LASTS. Most men will bald, lose hair, or thin based on their genetics either way regardless (unless you take really good care of your hair). So enjoy it! Have fun with your long hair even if it will be a pain, because once you grow up, it will be really difficult for most men to experience this youthful activity. You will definitely miss and regret not growing out your hair when you start becoming old.

@Bwobby Jay 36 here, and also started balding in my early 20s. Was Norwood 5 almost 6 on the hair loss scale. Been growing it out since Jan 2021 and it's 2.25 years in from shaved (no trims yet). Been using hair loss medications with some success and have gained some hair back. Granted it's temporary as once you stop, the progress is lost. But I've been pleased with my look so far especially since I've been growing my beard long for a year now which helps complete the overall look. Keeps getting better and better every few months!

The only way to stop and reverse genetic hair loss is with finasteride because it addresses the root cause of the problem. Taking good care of your hair will not stop genetic hair loss, only make the existing hair look better.

I have about 2 years of long hair on top but shaved sides, I'm just starting to grow them out. I recently started looking up videos on men's long hair tips and have found a bunch of videos with great advice but most were 2 or 3 years old already. All these guys talking about how great long hair is, how much they love it, yet when I went to find their more recent videos, they've all cut their hair short! So thank you for being a continued inspiration 👍💪

Preach this content, man. My husband began to loose his hair before he turned 30. Seeing him be disappointed was hard for me too, and I helped him keep it shaved if he asked. It took some time for him to accept his hair loss, especially when he was trying to grow it out as he began to loose it, but when he was ready, I helped him buzz it down to the skin. He's got a wonderful beard, so he makes do with what he has. I love his new look, and he gives Kratos vibes now. He's considered trying out a piece at some point, which I think would be really fun or him to try. From a woman to men: love what you got, accept what you can't do, and don't ever be afraid to try new things. That's the most important and attractive thing!
@Ignozi

Why did he accept his hair loss, wasn't he able to go the medical route and take finasteride? I'm just surprised that people are still choosing to accept going bald in today's day and age.
Growing out my undercut. Your videos has me staying strong throughout the difficult awkward face. Thanks
Talk about standing out! Just wait until your 71 years old with long hair. You're really going to stand out and many will not approve. The irony for me is 50 years ago, women in my age group loved long hair on guys. Today, those same women don't like it at all. I've had long hair about 4 times in my life. I've never had enough facial hair to grow a beard or mustache but I could always grow hair. I plan on being in San Diego, God willing, in 2024 to donate my hair.

Just found your channel. I have had crewcut short hair for 35 yrs-ish. I have decided to grow it long for once in my life. Might have to join your group of yours, Trav. My hair growth journey story is one born out of an autistic obsession (on the autism spectrum) of long hair and beards, but has turned into more than just that. It's become a shinning example of making the best with what you have, inspiration, determination, passion, perseverance, and even spirituality.
I've been growing my hair out for a year now. This week I walked into a pub and some woman walked up to me who was extremely rude and told me I need to cut my hair. She was showing me these short cuts and saying you'll look much better and said she was trying to give me relationship advise ! Found her to be very rude and I just ignored her. My hair grows straight and similar style to Keanu Reaves. I've had a lot of compliments apart from that negative interaction this week. I'm looking forward to another year of growing ! Great video.

Had long for 20 years and love it
Had long hair for about 4 years and my god I was in love with it along with other women. Gonna grow it back out come January 1st 😮💨
you are my role model
My reasons 1) it's easy to maintain for me, does is sounds weird? Well i Don't like short hair (2-3 inches) my normal hair length was 6-7 inches ( front) and fade on side and it's hard to maintain on top of that you need hairstyling products (mostly clay, wax) which i don't like in summer but on the other hand when it comes to hair it's more likely care instead of styling ( moisturizing products etc) 2) It's flexible ( bun, pony etc) 3) well because of long hair i learnt that we don't have to shampoo every single day.... Now i don't use sls shampoo and i don't wash it every single day and guess what? It looks good but back in the days it looked terrible because sls shampoo used to strip away natural oils.... I know it's not hair length but long hair taught me that... 4) When I'm outside during summer... It kinda protects my neck.... People often ask me whether i feel hot just because I've long hair but it's quite opposite 😸 no matter whether it's summer or winter. I love long hair! Even if i cut it then I'll keep it at shoulder length because it looks dope! I don't think I'll ever go for a undercut
Glad it helped. I'm starting all natural again since my damaged bleached part has been cut off. I was wondering does biotin and marula oil shampoo promotes hair growth?
You motivated me 😜
Really proud of that one picture hmmm

When I was a teenager in high school I had long hair especially around my junior and senior year, when I was a kid I would always copycat my brothers short haircuts because I would idolize my older brother so much but I started being my own person with long hair or even medium length hair, but at times I would get a really short haircut, and everytime a see a photo of my short hair it never looked right to me, I always had bad haircuts and I realize I'm someone who should have longer hair, because it's who I really am. So now I'm 4 months in again growing my hair and I'm never going short again.

Are there specific signs that a conditioner or some leave-in does not properly penetrate your hair shaft? Not sure if you already have a video that shows/explains the visual and/or tactile result of this.
Is seeing your scalp when you lift your hair up normal for fine hair or does it mean my hair is thin? Also you can't see my scalp when my hair is in it's natural position, but when I'm styling my hair I can easily see my scalp when I lift it up.
U should speak about one topic that seems to go off radar, some of my friends traveled in different countries, and after a while they experienced significantly hair loss, I dont know if its water quality or different climate but it happened even after they came back home the process got repeated, so is there solution for that and did u have any similar experience ?

I'm not an expert but it might be doable as long as you do it with cold water. It doesn't damage the hair anywhere near as much as hot water would. If your hair doesn't yet get too sweaty by the next day after washing body powder can also help. (you would probably want to apply before doing sport stuff, then decide from the results if you want to wash your hair the next day) I think Trav also has an older video on that.

I occasionally use a charcoal face mask to clean out my pores/blackheads. It’s pretty strong stuff though so only use it sparingly, like 1-2x a week. Every morning I also use a gentle moisturizer because my skin gets very dry. And in the shower I use a face scrub. Other than that, I don’t use any other products. Looking at the ingredients of this skin care kit he was advertising, there appears to be a ton of chemicals in it.

I would recommend using water only on your skin, unless there is something on it that will not come off. The reason you need to use moisturizer daily is because you stripping away your bodies natural moisturizer... i use a light bodywash around once per month, and my skin feels bad for 1-2 days after that.
