For the Aufero 2 you can build a macro and use settings in Lightburn to basically simulate your limit switches.

I was able to add limit switches to my AL2 quite easily since it has the same motherboard as AL1.

I found this review super helpful, and has convinced me this machine would be a good addition. With this laser option they sent, and applying the code, it's 369 before shipping. Is there a way to get one of the 100*100cm cheapo Ebay engravers to work? I really need a much larger working space for engraving, but the few comments I've found online is that no one can actually get them to work.

Great review again! You're the gold standard when it comes to laser reviews on youtube. I've been on the market for a laser for quite a while now and can't seem to make up my mind, so I really appreciate these vids. I know I want a dual diode laser. My 1st choice right now is atomstack x7 as they now are promising air assist to be released for it soon. Neje was on my radar, but their setup seems very "janky" and I've heard they're overdriving their diodes way too high = shorter lifespan.

Do you know if this can be used with the cup attachment for engraving cups and tumblers?

Hey man video was great. Curious I see everyone doing wood, wonder if it’s possible to do cups/metal etc.

Did you need to activate or otherwise with the firmware…or is a case of fit the end stops and plug them into existing pins/sockets on the board?

I bought this laser, this is my fist time using a tool like this. I am struggling with the tracking of the gantry. It wants to rack on the y axis travel, causing alignment problems. I know this is a cheap entry level unit, just wondering if there is a fix for this. I have been adjusting the guide rollers and drive belts with limited success. Just wondering if you have thought of doing a video on the set up and tuning of similar style machines. Thanks for all your content.

Yes, but you would really want to dial in the focus to get thin lines.

What is your opinion with the mr carve M1 fiber laser?

I appreciate you showing a Laser DOT SIZE comparison! You show the Atomstack X7 but isn't the A10 Pro using the same laser module? I ask because I am interested in the Wifi capability of the X7 but no one has proven it works - and the A10 is more affordable for me if i can't control machine from WiFi.

Hi! Am I able tu use this using .dwg files in AutoCAD ? Or just using the software AutoCAD to draw what I want and then open it in another software to laser cut it ? Thank you in advance

You would need to export your drawing from Autocad, Lightburn can bring in a ton of different file formats that would then run to the laser.

Export as a DXF file, will import straight in retaining layers

@@teocan7438 if you get crazy lines or else on your burn, change the Dxf version , the best is to match the year the lasersoftware was built, if it was 2018 just export the object to Dxf version 2018 or earlier.

Great review. How does it compare to SCULPFUN S9? It is said that the S9 has stronger penetration to cut thicker wood or acrylic? want to see

I would love to see this as well! I also wonder if I can add the S9 head to the Foxalien Mega base? I like that Sculpfun has an expansion kit, but it is very expensive for a couple rails and belts. So the xtool d1 now has light burn comparability, and the atom stack looks like it’s coming out with an air assist later this month. I think these updates fixed the biggest problem with each machine. But now I’m super torn between the two. Id really enjoy hearing your thoughts??

Overall the D1 is a nicer build, but usually Atomstack is a little cheaper. Also currently D1 doesn’t have any air assist option.

Can I engrave stainless steel with this if I get the rotary attachment for things like yeti cups?

Stainless steel can be engraved, if you want to engrave cylindrical items, you need to use our YRR accessories to engrave.

I am looking for a Lazar that will allow for my own drawing and cuttings that I can upload to the laser. But affordable. I know many of the CO2 lasers have this capability. A CO2 laser is a bit much on my budget right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please test the size of the dot of LU2-2 and LU2-4 LF?

The focal spot of LU2-2 is 0.07x0.06 ，and the LU2-4LF is 0.17x0.25.

Still no comment on the J Tech 7 watt?

The aufero 2 link is a white page (body) with navigation links. Don't think that works well for affiliates.
